The cake tastes good and the workers are friendly. I got a cake customized with my friend’s picture and it looked pretty good. I recommend.

Used to be known as Sweet Treats. I found this place on Unilocal.I was looking to order a cake for my daughters first birthday. Visited a few bakeries to get a quote, and finally made my decision to place my order here. I found a picture of what I wanted on pinterest and came out looking even better! The design was beautiful and tasted rich and delicious! I had guests eat cake, who normally don’t say they loved the way it tasted. It was moist and not too sweet. Just the way I like it. I am so glad I found this place. From now on, I will continue to order my cakes from here.

This is my first time I ordered from this place. I have to say I made the right decision. Not only my cake looked awesome, it tasted delicious. Each & every guest liked the cake & gave me compliments. Thanks Maricor for making my baby shower more special & memorable. All my pics came out so good. I will surely order from u again.

Maricor you truly are amazing! I can see the passion and love you have for what you do for a living. You made the cake I described better than I expected or imagined. You are an artist. Not only did the cake and cupcakes look sooo PERFECT, it was so delicious. The cake I ordered was Disney Sofia the First Theme Birthday Cake for my Daughter’s Princess Sonia’s 4^th Birthday Party. It was a 2 tier cake to feed a total of 40 people, top layer was vanilla cake and vanilla crème, and bottom layer was vanilla cake with chocolate crème, and 48 cupcakes, half vanilla and other half was chocolate, half with purple icing on top and other half with pink icing on top. She delivered it all the way to the bronx. Her bakery by the way is what I call a hidden gem, because of the location. But I found my baker for life! Thank you for making my daughter a very happy little princess.

Beautifully decorated cake exactly what my friend wanted Made Her 30^th bday very special and the caked tasted delicious! It was made almost identical to the picture I sent them and made on very short notice. Will definitely use them for future birthdays as well.

Food here is fresh and delicious. Cakes are beautiful too. Would definitely recommend this place to others looking for quality food at very reasonable price.
All of the empanadas here are top notch, baked (not fried here) which is much healthier for you!!!

I highly recommend Custom Cakes NYC for your customized cakes! The owner Maricor is professional, talented and friendly. I was impressed by her level of expertise. Just by telling her how I wanted my cake designed for a baby shower, Maricor was able to customize exactly what I had in mind. She also has many photos of cakes she previously baked in case you need ideas. I left her shop feeling satisfied and I’m very happy I chose her to bake my cake. Her prices are also reasonable. I plan to be a returning customer and take comfort in knowing that anytime I need a customized cake, I know exactly where to go.

I tried Maricor’s (the owner) empanadas two years ago because a friend brought them over for a New Year’s Eve celebration. The minute I took a bite, I knew these empanadas were different. They were baked (not fried), the fillings were full of flavor, and the crust was so delicious — light and buttery. They were the best empanadas I ever tasted. When I went to Maricor’s shop to order the empanadas for an event, I discovered to my delight that she also catered Filipino food and is also an incredible pastry chef. Her food is made with love and even my father who can be very particular about his food raved about her cooking. He even exclaimed that the oxtail stew was cooked «perfectly.» Maricor’s cakes are not only beautiful, they are so good that you will want to eat every bit of it including the delicious buttercream frosting (that’s saying a lot from a health coach who will only eat exceptional sweets). She is a culinary artist and a secret treasure that I feel so lucky to have discovered. I love her cooking and her baking. I highly recommend stopping by and meeting this lovely lady who cooks with so much love and joy. Her food makes people smile.

This review is for the custom cake i ordered for my son’s baptism. BTW it used to be called Sweet Treats NY and now called Custom Cakes NYC.
I initially called her for an appointment and ask if she’ll be able to make me a very specific cake design for my 3 tier cake. When we arrived there, she handed us her 3 best seller flavors for us to sample. It was red Velvet, chocolate, and strawberry. It was so good and moist. The strawberry flavor wasn’t just a flavor, she was actually using actual sweet strawberries which was to me a great thing to have in my cake. We had a hard time choosing which one to choose. And then we realized hey, why not just have 3 flavors on our 3 tier cake!
We told her the day and time we needed the cake. And as agreed she delivered our cake on time. Our guests took pictures with the cake coz it looks beautiful. Not only that, when it was time for our guests to get their slice everybody said it was delicious! Some even asked for seconds. And as a host that made me happy!
I highly recommend Maricor to anyone who wants to order customized cake. I actually just ordered another cake from her!
