Great meat and cheese plate. I was impressed by the quality and quantity. In fact, I was so impressed I bought one to take home to my wife.

The management at this restaurant really needs to rethink how they are doing things. 1. The lack of service. We were sat down by a waitress and then didn’t really see anyone else until we were receiving our food. We were sat in the corner to see the dishes prepared. It almost seemed as though people came to hang out instead of work. There should also be more than one attendant at the bar. 2. The price of the food for the quality being received. Not only should there be some more options… but price accordingly to what we are actually receiving. There was barely any sauce in my pasta and it was served room temperature at best. The milkshakes are literally powder with milk. In no way shape or form did it seem as though it was made with ice cream. 3. Provide accurate orders in an timely manner. We placed an order for milkshakes to go. We even told the bar tender that our flight would be boarding within 30 minutes. They came out with the wrong flavor of milkshakes after 20 minutes. We will definitely either grab a bite to eat prior to arriving at JFK or dine at another location there the next time we visit.

The iPad concept of airport restaurant ordering is not my favorite. I prefer an actual live waiter. This visit this was not a problem, a very nice waiter took my order on the iPad and continued to check in throughout the meal. The meal itself. I had two eggs, breakfast potato and coffee. The eggs were cooked well, to order. The potatoes were frozen fries which had been sitting out for a while. No flavor, hard, yuck. The plate was also covered in oil — Likely from the eggs. Disappointing.

I feel the need to comment on these two things. I had the linguini with clams. The pasta was properly cooked and the clams were really nice. It could have been improved with a squirt of lemon or some pepper or parmesan to break up the buttery garlic flavor. I was bothered more by the iPads permanently attached to the center of the table, one per seat. Mine didn’t even work to place my order and then it was in the way for the rest of the meal. It’s an interesting idea but poorly and executed. If only you could store them away while you eat, it would not have been a bother.

Service was hard to get for follow up. Had to ask for coffee several times. Food a little pricey and undercooked. Nice place to sit and wait for flight.

Here, bad service is the norm. You’re greeted by impatient servers who ask you to hurry through your over priced bad tasting meal. Pasta lacks flavor and anything you might enjoy. I recommend spending your money anywhere else.

Looked like a nice and clean spot. Menu was diverse and sounded really great. Unfortunately, when I seated myself at a booth, a server came over to promptly move me to a «table for one». This would have been perfectly reasonable if the dining area was even at 10% capacity but there were at least 6 open booths and larger tables tables available. This wasn’t surprising considering a Saturday at the airport around 2pm. The airport was basically empty. Further, I could see several larger tables with 1 – 2 people sitting there already. Long story short, I never had the chance to critique the food be I decided to find a spot with a more flexible customer service policy. I had a large bag with me and didn’t feel like cramming into a little table!

Just because they have iPads to cut down on the amount of servers does not equal good service. I’m a software developer and the software they use has a lot of bugs. I feel sorry for the older people coming here. The food was terrible, especially for the price and I don’t like how they make you tip before you are even served. I tipped 20% and received terrible service. I recommend another place. 2 stars because the manager was friendly after confronting him. Otherwise I would give negative stars if I could.

I would eat at this and any restaurant with the convenience of this one at any airport gate! I only ordered a salad and an Arnold Palmer. My salad was delish and the convenience of ordering and paying via a tablet was great. I was in and out in a jiffy and that’s all you can ask for in little time. There were awesome looking items on the menu, so I’d definitely order a full meal if I had a flight delay or a long layover.

This place is convenient for a quick bite, and every order is taken on iPad. The iPad can also be used for Internet browsing. Cannot expect too much from an airport restaurant, I felt lucky as I was only getting breakfast here, which did not require too much skills. That being said, the omelet here was not bad. It was slow.

So you’ve used up your 30 minutes of free WIFI at JFK and your flight doesn’t board for another hour or so. What to do? Due Amici! Due Amici is an Italian restaurant located in Terminal 2(Gate C area) at the JFK Intl’ Airport. Every seat in the restaurant has it’s own personal iPad so you can order and pay for your meal through the iPad and use unlimited free WIFI as you wait for your plane to arrive. The iPads are super easy to order from, but there are waiters available to help you if you are having any issues placing or paying for your order. I ordered a coffee, orange juice, and French Toast. Everything was awesome! Did I pay too much for my meal? I sure did! But the only food I was going to receive on my Delta flight was a bag of peanuts or pretzels so my options were to pay the hefty airport prices or starve on my flight. Since you are paying for your meal upfront there is no need to flag down your waiter at the end of your meal. A great feature if you are pinched for time. I get the worst cell service on my iPhone at JFK so the iPads at our table were a lifesaver. Time flew so much quicker as I browsed the news on the iPad and our booth seats were so much more comfortable than the seats at our gate. Due Amici is definitely my go-to spot next time I’m waiting for a flight at JFK.

Worst service: I ordered a drink and got it 20 minutes later. And by drink I mean a glass of Prosecco. It came in a wine glass covered in sticky soda. The bad rating isn’t completely in them as it is in the terminal. I wish they had better choices and a bar that cared about their clientele.

Stopped for a quick bite before my flight… I was amazed at the quick service and delicious food. Rather large drink menu… Luv it !!!

Perhaps my experience was better here despite the tablets due to my dining, or rather drinking, with friends. At a larger table, still inundated with tablets(again, a Delta thing), it’s easier to bypass the screens to actually see your drinking partners’ faces. So after having my bad burger at that other spot, I met up with my friends for some well-made drinks before our flight to NOLA. After one double-Manhattan(first for everything), I was very happy and ready for my long weekend of festive fun.

If your in the Delta area in Terminal two., and you think of eating at this establishment…, let me sum it up in one word: Don’t. Can’t even begin to relate the things I found off at this establishment. I just want to pass on the advance warning to save your money.

This is about as good as it gets for airport dining. It’s very futuristic and every seat has their own iPad. Not just 1 per table, but 4 individual iPads in the booths. After you get seated one of the waiters comes by and walks you through the ordering process. The iPads are very user friendly and easy to use. I tried a few things and everything was pretty good. I started with the olives which was $ 6.00. Basic olives, can’t go wrong there. Then I had the Tuscan Kale which is flavored with garlic, chili flakes and slow cooked cannelloni beans. It was surprisingly flavorful! I finished off with a crostini that had cannellini beans, apricot and goat cheese. It was delicious! Overall service was fast and efficient, even the manager came over to check on me. However the only part I didn’t like was paying AND tipping BEFORE you even got your food. Seems weird to tip before being served? Guess it’s the policy and apparently the future with the iPad menus!

Came here for a quick bite before my boarding, got sat and attended to imidiatly. First of I thought the ordering through IPads were somewhat goofy but I have to say it kinda worked, I had a Caprese salad and added grilled chicken. Food came out really fast, the salad was delicious and of high quality, the chicken was perfectly grilled and moist, the waiter came by continuously and filled up my water. All in all not bad and definately not if you compare with other outlets in the airport.

I got a whole breakfast with eggs, potatoes, turkey bacon(they gave me like 7 slices it was overkill), toast with coffee. Yeah it was overpriced and I hate the lack of human interaction with these godawful iPads, but, still, they gave me like 7 slices of turkey bacon(cause I was the only one who ever orders it?) It looked a little undercooked, but hey, I am still alive to write this reviewa;eiolfka…

This Capri panini is by far the worst panini I have ever had the dis-pleasure of meeting. I don’t know how u make something with about 4 ingredients taste bad. I guess soggy falling apart bread, shitty almost scrambled egg consistency pesto, and about half the mozzarella this sandwich should contain is a good start. The bonus was the pretty old and wilted side salad… with no dressing. I asked for extra dressing to revive frankensalad, but it was too dead. And I’ll bet the two bites I had of the salad will help me pray to he Gods o Porcelein later. At least it only cost $ 18 after tip… boo. Do yourself a favor, after too many attempts at terminal 2 restaurants, I have finally faced the fact that Wendy’s is the best place I eat here

It was a little pricey(ok, so I ordered steak, what was I expecting?) but it was very tasty and perfectly medium-well. The veggies on the side were equally delicious. I’m still undecided as to how I feel about sharing a table with strangers, especially when that includes a rambunctious, spoiled, inattentive child. That being said, it’s very nice of them(and the airport, in general) to have useable iPads(you can use these to order from any restaurant in the airport and have the items delivered to wherever you may be squatting) and places to charge electronics all over the joint.
