Park & Save

I am surprised to see that all the other reviews are so negative. I’ve now used this service twice and had the same, positive experience I had the first time. Service was prompt and I did not have to wait more than about 15 minutes at the airport after I called them for pick-​up. Again, my car was waiting for me upon arrival. I wish it were that way for everybody!

I wrote my return date wrong on the paper they have you fill out and the parking guy made me wait 50 minutes to get my car while giving me a death stare the whole time. Mistakes happen guy, it’s called customer service. Not worth the money you «save». Other employees were very nice though.

Lets get to the niddy gritty of this spot.
Its very affordable and your car is in a safe lot.
The place looks extremely shady.
Leaving from this place to the airport the van was on time.
The van is old! Squeaks loudly! Some seats in the back bounce with any bumps.
Getting picked up from the airport took 3 phone calls and 40 minutes.
You get what you pay for right?!

PARK AND SAVE IS A TOTAL DISASTER– THEY USE YOUR VEHICLE TO PICK UP OTHER CUSTOMERS FROM THE AIR PORT– DO NOT PARK HERE!
When we arrived at the lot there were no lights on and a worker sleeping in the office (a trailer) and the lot had no sort of gate or security. When we called the «shuttle» to come pick us up when our flight landed we were told it would be a ten minute wait. When they never showed we called again and were told that their shuttle bus was in the shop getting breaks done.SERIOUSLY. They had no solution to pick up my party of 6 –suggested they could drive our vehicle to pick us up which would not have worked because we all would not fit. They also refused to reimburse our cab fare if we took a cab back to their lot. After a ton of aggregation they showed up an hour later in ANOTHER CUSTOMERS VEHICLE and the driver stopped to «pick something up at another terminal» with all of us in the car. Then they had us waiting for an hour in their parking lot for our car because they moved it to «another lot». IT TOOK US OVER 2 HOURS TO GET OUR VEHICLE AFTER OUR FLIGHT. WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS HAS NO SHUTTLE TO PICK UP THEIR CUSTOMERS ??? And to make it even worse we saw the «shuttle» when we got back to the lot and a worker took it to grab lunch. THEY WE’RE EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND TAKE THEIR CUSTOMERS CARS TO PICK UP OTHERS FROM THE AIRPORT. We are reporting this to the new York police. We also spoke with other customers who waited over 3 hours for their vehicle using this lot. Every time we asked for our vehicle we were told it would be 2 minutes. DO NOT USE PARK AND SAVE YOU WILL TRULY REGRET IT

We parked from 5÷24−5÷29. We used a Groupon and were required to pay cash. Upon return, our radar detector, power inverter, and pocket knife were stolen out of the center console of our car. Someone went through our car and picked through our belongings. The $ 50 we saved by using Park & Save (difference in price between them and the Parking Spot) wound up costing us about $ 300 worth of equipment.
My husband called as soon as we got to our location in NYC. The lady on the phone said the owner took theft seriously and would check the tapes and get back to us in 24 hours. We have yet to receive a call.
The shuttle is a little worn down and smells like sweat. The drivers were typical drivers, courteous and efficient.
The brightest part of using Park and Save were the ladies that checked in the car. They were very courteous. I left my boarding pass on the counter, and she brought it out to me before we got in the shuttle. I am very grateful.
We signed an agreement that Park and Save was not responsible when we arrived, so there is no recourse. Essentially, I don’t want money. I want MY stuff back… and an apology for employing thieves, promoting security that does not exist, and invading my privacy. My takeaway is this:
1. If you are on a budget and have a modest car with no personal belongings in it, you may still like Park & Save JFK.
2. If you value your belongings and privacy, you should avoid this company.
3. If you are running late, put your radar detector (anything not bolted down!) in your luggage and take it with you.
I filed a complaint with the BBB, and I will place this complaint on as many review sites as possible. When I filed the complaint, I found out their BBB grade was an F, because they decided to joyride in a customer’s cadillac:
