The staff were friendly and helpful, but there were long lines every time I was hoping to speak with someone at the front desk. This review is based mostly on the gym, however. Only 1 out of 5 treadmills worked (belt and tv). The workout balls were only half inflated. There were no mats for laying on the floor. Not a full selection of weights, and the equipment needed some oil. This was starkly in contrast with the guy at the front desk who told me that their gym was fantastic and that I would enjoy it very much. Not quite.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 days. Room is clean, large, they gave us 2 bottle of water for free which is nice. Breakfast buffet price is a little bit high, food is good.

The hotel is very close to Airport. I stayed at this hotel for one night with my fiancé. The hotel is beautiful and very professional/​hospitality staff. The room is big and clean. The restaurant and bar in lobby level ware good. Nice selection of food menu. We had nice breakfast next day in there restaurant the waitress offer us omelette and pancakes which chef is doing fresh and ala minute is good. Overall our stay was very plesent. Thank you for nice service even we stayed for a night. We defenetly recommended this hotel with reasonable price.

The worst! Like another reviewer said, it was so loud being right next to the highway you might as well have had the windows wide open. Or be sleeping outside. It might be quieter outside, actually.

Llegamos acá porque los «copados» de American Airlines demoraron 10 horas el vuelo y nos acomodaron en este hotel a 10 minutos del JFK.
— La cocina del restaurante en la planta baja no daba a basto para cubrir los pedidos de todos los pasajeros varados.
— El menú era muy básico (pizza, hamburguesas, etc) lo que sorprende más el punto anterior en el que te hacían esperar una hora para sentarte y una hora para traerte el pedido.
— Mala suerte. La habitación que me tocó no funcionaba la calefacción (enero en NY)
— La gente del hotel nos tuvo paciencia y el transfer llegó a tiempo a la mañana para tomar el vuelo.

I stayed at this Hotel location for a week. It was perfect location as it was close to JFK and close to the city (around a 30min drive). The staff was very friendly Chris, Carmen, Front Desk Manager and the rest of the team. Valet parking was easy and the guys were friendly also. Given the cold temperatures they were dealing with. Will be staying at the location on upcoming trips. I had a great stay! Thank you all for making my trip an amazing one!

just okay. Very near jfk and there is a shuttle every 30 minutes. I have been pushed here due to the flight delay. Living with a lovely woman from Nepal

My stay was from Nov 7 – 10. I would love give a higher rate but there were 2 negatives which I addressed to the front desk. The first was that I could hear and feel the wind coming from the window. Maintenance came up and properly closed the window (that somewhat helped but the need to have proper sealants around the windows). The negative was the plumbing — I could hear toilets being flushed throughout the night (especially the first night — maintenance couldn’t do anything about it). Now for the positive: The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was very clean. All of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I ate at the café for breakfast and the food was very good. Nancy in the café was very accommodating to me and my mother. I would stay again but the hotel needs to do something with the window situation — either replace them all or put sealants around all of the windows.

Having an unplanned overnight courtesy of Jet Blue, we found average but clean accommodations here with a friendly staff. The hotel is not within walking distance of an stores, so it is lucky they provide most necessities at the front desk and the balance at a small gift shop. We used the bar for drinks and dinner and played it safe with chicken Parmesan. The best compliment I could give the food is that it compared to a good workplace cafeteria! The chicken was preformed patties, not exciting but edible. Earlier we had wings in the bar which were actually good with the beers. The female bartender was excellent and friendly. There was no waitress service, but you could order at the bar and she made sure you got the food and utensils and condiments that you ordered, promptly and accurately. The hotel is used to having people stuck overnight and the shuttle is very efficient.

Room too noisy. Freeway side. Sounded like window was open all night. Mould in grout in shower. Good service in lobby and bar was the extent of it.

Stayed here for a night before taking a trip. We used the parking for 2 weeks after our stay. The room is just fine for our needs. The customer service left much to be desired. We did however, find that the valet guys were friendly and helpful.
The setup of the hotel is strange. They only offer valet parking, but it’s not labeled anywhere.

Great experience at this hotel. Very helpful management and quick to help accommodate the guest’s needs.

Front desk was rude, room was dirty, bar wouldn’t put the NY Rangers game 7 on…

A solid four star hotel. I spent the night for business, and it is conveniently located to my temporary work area. The front desk people were all great in accommodating my walk-​in request, and I got a great room. What didn’t make this a 5-​star rating was the noisy traffic I heard, even though I was on one of the upper floors of the hotel. Other than that, everything was great, I highly recommend!

Like many on here, I was offered a room here due to overbooking by the airlines. I agree that it is a little noisy, but the room is nice and comfortable. I just checked in, so I will modify this later. What I do want to mention that was FANTASTIC, was the Front Office Manager, Farah Francois. Out of 40+ years traveling around the world, she is the most efficient, talented, friendly, multi-​tasking, person I have ever seen at the hotel. I can’t say enough after watching her deal with two customers before I was able to check in. It was so fun to watch, I could literally hang out in the lobby to watch her work. She is amazing. This world needs more people like this in it. Wow!

Booked in here when a connection to Las Vegas was cancelled. Not my first choice for one reason: the prices are extortionate for what is a perfectly pleasant, if perfunctory, airport hotel. Plenty of options around JFK and unless I had no choice, would not stay again because simply, it’s not value for money.

Stayed here when our flight was cancelled for the night. Glad that the airline took care of us, but this hotel did not. The airline gave my boyfriend and I each a $ 35 meal voucher, which seemed generous. However, once we got to the hotel we were told the vouchers were only good for the buffet. We were starving and didn’t know any better, so the middle-​school cafeteria food buffet was it. Turns out that you can also order food at the bar, which no one told us.
Had we known better we would have had a much nicer meal with or without those vouchers, maybe a $ 30 NY Strip instead of the $ 35 Salsbury steak. And we may not have ordered the four drinks that cost us $ 52 dollars at the bar.
In a nutshell, this place is overpriced, low on quality, low on customer care.

British Air booked me here after a missed connection. Seems one of their first choices for this. The hotel feels more like a highway motel. Elevator doors seem on the verge of getting stuck, bathroom door won’t lock, the room is dark, tiles are dented, the windows are dirty, the furniture looks old. The room however is clean enough for a night in between flights, and the bed comfortable, but don’t expect anything memorable.
Mixed feelings about the service. We got here at 11 after waiting 30 minutes for the shuttle at JFK. The manager kindly pointed us to the restaurant across the hall where we could spend our dinner vouchers. We walked there, where we were told quite rudely that the kitchen was closed and they couldn’t do anything about it. We explained the manager directed us to them seconds before, and they said to go and fetch him and see what he could do. After a good 15 minutes during which they talked we were given a couple of sandwiches that someone had ordered and did not pick up.
Meanwhile they managed to be even more rude to other customers. I understand kitchen has hours and they are tired, but if we were delayed and left there waiting for the shuttle it wasn’t our fault as much as it wasn’t theirs, they could have been more sympathetic, at least.

HANDS DOWN WORST EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD AT A HOTEL. The manager (a man who I believe may be arab. & the supervisor CHRISTOPHER) charged me for 2 nights when I only stayed 1 & refused to give me a refund. These people banged on my door at 2am asking for money for the night. I was in total shock & couldn’t believe they were willing to arrest a young girl for their misunderstanding. I wouldn’t advise you to stay here because apparently their keen on throwing you out prior to checking their information first. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
Not to mention the ac/​heater doesn’t work, dirty towels, & the door was wide open to my room when I got there after checking in. Idk about you but that’s just a tad bit sketchy

BTW — some of these photos look dated. perhaps the hotel recently had a facelift. The room was not raggedy. Admittingly the first room I was place in had a dated TV but the next one was up to date and the furniture was modern and up-​to date
I have not stayed at a Radisson since I was a child. At that time they were the Radisson Inn, not the Radisson Hotel. It seems they have changed their level of service and offerings. The hotel looked great from the outside. I came in at about 11pm on a friday. WOO — it was packed. Apparently — the airlines have struck a deal with them to accommodate their staffs and hence the line was long and I had to wait about 15 – 20 minutes to check in.
The guest relations personnel were nice and accommodating, hats off to the shift manager after he took the time to speak with me after a reservations flub. He also switched my room to fit both my niece and I even with the hotel being booked.
Unfortunately — in the am when I tried to order a simple breakfast I couldnt get room service, I tried and I tried. WHY DIDNT I HANG THE TAG ON THE DOOR LAST NIGHT! I was feeling nauseated and tired. Oh well — after calling back a couple of times I gave up.
Other than that… my stay was fine. The next day I had to come back because I left my earrings and housekeeping found them after I called.
FYI: If you are driving, there is no street parking — you must valet. $ 16.50, shuttle to JFK every 10 minutes. This is not a leisure hotel. This hotel is best for those getting on a flight or need to be next to the airport for whatever reason.

This was a good experience for us all the way around. Room was clean and nicely furnished. Our one-​night stay (Friday night) was fine and we were not bothered by noise. We were on 8^th floor I think, and not near the elevator.
We used the hotel parking package — we were leaving next day from JFK for international flight so caught the noon shuttle to the terminal. Service was prompt and our suitcase and two musical instruments were handled nicely. Shuttle picked us up at Federal Circle when we flew back 8 days later. Waited only 15 minutes or so after calling from our cell to request pickup around 3 pm.
Wanted a recommendation for a nice restaurant for our Friday night dinner. Bell captain suggested Bruno’s — Italian place in HowardBeach and got us a cab. GREAT dinner!!!
Front desk staff was efficient.
We’d use this sleep /​park /​fly again. Was convenient for us.

This was picked by my company, the room was a little nasty and old and new no iron or clock. The good point is the staff was very nice and helpful. But no I will not want to stay again

This has been one of the worst hotel stays ever. First off, the airport to hotel shuttle van was old and down. We got strange bug bites after our first night stay and the house keeping manager refused to check the bed for bugs. Then she moved us to another room. We had no assistance in bringing our bags either. They said someone would bring up the key to our new room but they never came. We had to go down to the frontdesk, stand in line, to get our key card. The new room had slow drainage in the bath tub shower. The shower curtains in these bathrooms are ragged and nasty. The new room had no towels in the bathroom either so I asked for a few and they never came. I had to grab them myself from the housekeeping cart down the hall. We left in the morning around 9 and came back at 6 in the evening to find our room had never been cleaned. They have a full breakfast buffet for $ 20 and a continental buffet for $ 11 with no other options. No restaurant, no a la carte menu, and no room service. The hotel is in a residential area of a not so great neighborhood so you can’t just walk outside to grab things either. There is actually a vacant lot with wild weeds across from the hotel.
Worst of all, the staff are really unfriendly and the facility is kept in a very poor condition. I wish I could give negative stars. :(

This is the hotel Delta put me up in after their late takeoff in Baltimore resulted in me missing my connecting flight from JFK to Las Vegas. First of all, peaceful it was not. The hotel is right off of some sort of freeway with only what appeared to be a waist-​high concrete barrier separating the parking lot and imminent road death. Luckily, my room’s sound-​barrier breaking air conditioning unit managed to drown out any road noise. The room was also small and dark. Like a hobbit cave… next to a construction zone. The hotel itself was a little tired and outdated.
The perks: free wi-​fi, a shuttle bus that takes you directly to JFK (which you will share with the flight crew of some airline that apparently only hires models — making you feel excessively hobbit-​like), and room service who takes your request for extra cream and sugar to heart.

Not brutally bad unlike the other reviews. Only stayed here for one night.
The loss is stars comes from their TERRIBLE airport shuttle. The worst I have ever seen. One of the drivers yelled at a passenger because they didn’t know what terminal they needed– only the airline. Shuttle was always late. Took 35 minutes to pick up yet hotel was 3 minutes away.
The showers had the hot water marked with blue and the cold water marked with red. I was waken up in the shower with a facefull of frozen water because I expected warm water to be red. Not cool.
Front deal staff was nice but not too knowledgeable about the area.
The restaurant was good but very very overpriced.
I probably wouldn’t stay here again mainly because of the shuttle. Small things like that have a lasting impression on me.
