East Fork Stables is a horse campground for people to come and trail ride horses or mules. We also have trails for wagons/buggys. We have 100 miles of trail riding over 12,000 acres. You can camp in your RV, Tent or stay in one of our cabins. We have organized rides where we cook for you and all you have to do is sit back in the saddle and enjoy your vacation. If your traveling a long distance and need a place to stay for you and your horse overnight we are the place to call. We are pet friendly and allow you take your dogs with on the trails as well.
History
Established in 1994.
East Fork Stables opened to the public in 1994 when it’s parent company, The Estate of Bruno Gernt, Inc., decided to diversify into the tourism business. East Fork Stables was quickly established as one of the best trail riding venues in the state.
The 12,000 acre privately owned tract of land that contains East Fork’s trail system of over 100 miles is on the western edge of the Cumberland Plateau and offers a diverse selection of attractions:
