Description

Specialties

The Merc specializes in home made fresh locally sourced meals, wonderful live music, colorful locals and friendly service.

History

Established in 1906.

The Merc, as The Jamestown Mercantile Café is known, has served the residents of Jamestown and the surounding area for over a century. It has served gold miners, railroad builders and painted ladies. The landscape around it has changed, but it remains the town’s meeting place and the best place to get the coldest beer in town. Visit with Jamestown’s locals while you enjoy small town antics– some of the most creative and hilarious people on earth.

Meet the Business Owner

Rainbow S.

Business Owner

Rainbow is having fun with her turn as the Merc’s proprietor– leaving the mountain charm to stand for itself– and only bringing in more music and changes to the menu including simple natural and farm fresh ingredients to the mountain fare. Come Thursday nights for her always changing «community dinner» along with live music and family friendly atmosphere.
