Born and raised in Roanoke, VA, i began washing windows while in high school for Sunrise Window Cleaning. I quickly progressed to learning high-​rise safety techniques and repelling. After graduation high school i went to college at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC where i washed windows part time as a sole proprietor. When i would visit home from school during the summer i would work for Sunrise Window Cleaning. While at App State I met my wife, Katherine, who after school moved back to Roanoke, VA with me. A few years we lived there while i continued to work for Sunrise. Once we got the news that Katherine was pregnant and we were having a girl, I decided I would open my own window cleaning company in pursue of a higher salary. Katherine takes care of all marketing, scheduling and administrative details at Sunburst while i focus on most of the servicing and more specialized jobs. We love what we do and it shows in the hundreds of past satisfied customers.
