I had the full crab Louie… The Mrs. Had the prime rib and lobster… Garlic mashed potatoes… Veggies… Good was awesome… Service great… Ice water never went below ½ empty… Lobster cooked perfect… Prime Rib was Medium and cooked perfect… Tender… Flavorful… Crab was real and fresh… Salad was loaded with veggies… Olives, avocado, artichoke hearts, tomatoes and cucumbers… Appetizer was the stuffed mushrooms(stuffed with crab)… Delicious!!! Will be back…

Well our waiter was nice. Other than that I had the chicken fettuccine alfredo the noodles were complete mush way over cooked and the chicken was dry and over cooked as well. as was the garlic bread. The veggies were absolutely foul! I’v never tasted something so bad they really were horrible! I couldn’t believe it. After reading some reviews about this place I was excited to try it but unfortunately it was an awful experience and we definitely won’t be returning

I would give this place no stars if I could. We came here for a nice dinner and ended up spending $ 65.00 on two burnt steaks. A Filet Mignon should not be smaller then your palm and burnt to a crisp, mashed potatoes were VERYDRY and instant. Very disappointed in the whole meal. We received our appetizer at the same time as our food. Very Sad!

The prime rib melt, mashed potatoes, minestrone soup, oh heck! Everything was fantastic and incredibly delicious. Definitely coming back again.

This was the first time at this steakhouse, the overall atmosphere is very vintage so if the old time country rustic experience is what you are searching for then feel no hesitation, the New York steak was smothered in mushrooms, the steak had a hint of a charred flavor but nothing to overpowering, broadly the steak was appetizing, there was a side of vegetables and baked potato that I wasn’t too crazy about but the steak did not disappoint. I’m giving it three out of five stars simply because I have been to exposed to much better steakhouses in the past, but for the area it fit the bill. Finally I conclude with a very kind staff and if I was to visit again it was because the excellent service.

Great service, wonderful family atmosphere! We went with a party of 6 adults and four kids, which is not easy to serve but the waitress was friendly and accommodating and the food was fresh and yummy! I would highly recommend giving this place a try.

Small time steak house that tries hard. Our server was nice, but the cuts of steaks were not great. My wife’s was chewy like rubber, mine too fatty… not marbled, fatty. They push their«fondue», which is quite frankly a disgusting flavorless cheese sludge like a bad queso dip. Some of the side dishes were very good and it’s a comfy place.

Really wanted to enjoy this place, I really like the historic feel. Steak was horrible. Ordered the 8oz sirloin, it came out barely warm. It had a very bad flavor, aftertaste of armpit??? Couldn’t even finish it. Veggies on the side, also barely warm, mushy and somewhat sour. Garlic mashed potatoes were ok, squeezed onto the plate like ice cream, little bit sticky… On a brighter note, the fried mushroom appetizer was really good. Unfortunately, it was not enough to make up for an entirely inexcusable meal. Staff was friendly, good service. I can never go back. I am too afraid of the steak.

Really good food and service!!! Stopped by to take a bite of the pulled pork sandwhich which was really really good! This would definitely will be a yearly spot after visiting Yosemite. The place has friendly staff and good food.

We love this restaurant! Sometimes the wait staff isn’t very attentive but always very sweet. We had Alyssa last week and she was awesome! We always get the fondue it never disappoints. The cheeseburger is always good as well!

So shocking, this place is so gross! I can’t believe people recommend this place. Ordered the salad and lettuce was wilted, fondue was nasty cheese, and when you order a baked potato they literally just hand you a steamed potato(not cut) and a tray of condiments that they pass around to everyone… Was disgusted because it was the end of the day and was afraid to ask where the tray had been. Also, staff was so rude! It was clear that the manager hates her job because she had such an attitude when I asked for her because I did not like my food. They also lost my reservations and when seated, they literally wiped the table and threw my utensils at the table… Terrible service! I would just recommend you not waste your money here.

Place is a mess! Flat soda, vegetables taste like they had been sitting out all day in 95 degree weather, was served cold fondue(candle doesn’t provide enough heat to warm up) and waited an hour to get our food and if I did need anything of course you need to flag someone down because no one will ask! I would never come back here again. And would suggest you stay away… Absolutely disgusted

Nice old time ambiance. old wooden walls and booths etc… Friendly down home service. Way too much food(meat) for the money. Had to take some out for my dog. Busy place on the weekend we were there… Reasonably priced…

My wife and I have enjoyed this steak house for years with excellent service and food in the past, however yesterday we visuted for an early dinner, we were quite surprised. The service was very substandard, the waitress was not very frienly and we felt very unwelcomed. The waitress did not stop by our table on her own the entire time we were eating, we had to ask. The flaver of the food was good, I ordered the ribeye and it came cooked the way i like it but it was not a very thick, maybe ½″ before cooking. The mashed potatoes were just that nothing extra, no butter, no pepper and the waitress didn’t ask if i wanted anything on them, when i asked for butter i got a blank stare. The vegetables were great. All in all the service and food has changed, definitely not an Improvement. Before I totally write them off i will try them one mord time.

Stopped here for lunch. My clam chowder was good — I like mine thick. Chicken fried steak was pretty good. Wife missed avocado in her Cobb Salad. I think food was good enough to come back and try dinner service. Pleasant atmosphere and good service. I would recommend giving The Willows a try!

I was not expecting much from the Willow Steakhouse but I had one of the best steaks I have had in a long time. Both husband and I ordered the larger cut of Filet Mignon and I had gorgonzola butter with mine while he had mushrooms. I ordered Medium Rare and it was perfectly cooked the way it should be-crispy on the outside and tender on the inside but NOT bleeding. The only thing I didn’t really enjoy were the sides-the garlic mashed potatoes had lumps and were cold when served and the veggies on the side had some weird almost perfumey seasoning on them that I didn’t care for. I would come back for the steak for sure. Excellent.

What the Heck happened to this place? This was the place that I raved about three years ago! My wife and I really wanted to go back do we did. Boy, were we surprised. First off they lost our reservations. We phoned one in and they could not find us. So we had to hover over a table waiting for someone go finish to grab a seat. Yes it was Valentines day but the service was really slow. It was o a the point where I had to get out of my sestet and hunt someone down for service. It took the waitress for ever to give us our menus, orders, and good. When we finally got our food the order did not come right. I asked for mash potatoes and got a baked one instead. My wife ordered the filet mignon and got a regular steak instead. Then again, the good was so tasteless that a steak might of been their filet mignon. The real kicker here is that our food arrived cold. We were told because we ordered appetizers that we threw the who kitchen off. We were like WTF??? Guess we will not be going to this place again.

My family and I have eaten lunch at The Willow twice in the last week; it’s our new favorite find! The burgers are amazing… we’re talkin real, hand-formed and seasoned hamburgers, no pre-formed perfectly circular mass market junk. The Rueben and the BLT sandwiches are also delish. Service is fast, attentive, and very courteous. The ambience is very old fashioned in a charming«upscale old west» way, and the saloon half of the building has a great vibe and cozy wood stove in the corner, across from a row of windows that afford a lot of natural light. Great little spot for a casual lunch or dinner, and there are lots of adorable shops and such nearby to walk off the meal and great beers the Willow has on tap!

Historical bar and bldg from the gold rush. This bldg is supposed to be haunted an is does have a creepy vibe in a good way. The food is excellent and the prices aren’t bad. The fondu is excellent too. Try it and you’ll like it.
