Jacks is ok. They sent me an email requesting a review in Unilocal.So here it is. I haven’t purchased from them I a while. The main reason I don’t use them much is price. Their prices are high. I have also had problems with getting the wrong part. They did replace the part with the right one. But it’s just not worth the hassle if I can get the right parts I need cheaper and faster.
That said, they did deal with me honestly. So I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again if I didn’t have a better alternative.

Called their customer service department trying to get resolution to an order I placed. They sent me wrong part. First time I called they said they needed to contact manufacturer and promised a call back the next morning… No call back! I called back and same story, they would return my call… which of course they didn’t. I will continue to follow up with them as I am stuck with a useless $ 600 attachment for my mower. Thanks Jack for delivering on your promise of resolving my issue.

They have a huge parts area. The service is good. Prices are competitive for a small town store. They have a large web site for parts and equipment.

Great online experience! Their web site makes it easy to identify the correct part. The prices were better than any other place I looked for a Honda carburetor and fuel filter. The parts arrived in two days, were exact matches for what I needed, and I installed them and was back up and running within a half hour.

Our family orders hundreds of items every year over the internet. I attempted to purchase a weed trimmer. After not hearing anything for three business, days after placing an order we finally received an email and a phone message to call. They requested a drivers license be faxed to them before filling a credit card order! Really? Order was cancelled and immediately placed with one of the numerouse competitors (Wise Sales) who offer the product at the same price. It was filled and shipped within 1 business day (actually about 7 hours). In 2015, you can do much better than ordering here. A check of this business on BBB shows numerous complaints.

Stay away!!! Ordered lawn mower never arrived– called to follow-​up they said they were shipping out that day. When lawn mower still had not arrived several days later I called and said they were shipping out in the next day or two. I said I heard that story last week, they then admitted to never having the product in stock. This company is untruthful to customers and do not deserve your business.

Wow. Look at these bad reviews. I wanted to buy a 50 hp MF tractor. The sales guy didn’t think I was important so he didn’t bother even leaving his computer… They told my friend just to buy his stuff off the internet. OMG

Got the pump.
No instructions as to whether or not it is filled with the gear oil or not. No instructions, AT ALL.
Their on-​hold music repeats «service after the sale», yet when I chose option 4, I got to wait 10 minutes on hold, and never got through to anyone to ask.
I am going to run the pump as is, since there is not a fill port. I sure hope I don’t have a warranty claim, or I will be «up _​_​_​_​_​_​_​creek without a pump» with these guys.

I order parts about a month ago, everything was on stock according to their website but I never received the parts until I check order status to found out one of the parts was not in stock. I never received an email to inform me it was back order. They kept pushing the delivery backward and held the others parts until the backorder parts will arrive.

I placed an order for a pressure washer pump in early June. After several days of nothing I called them only to find out that it was on back order. The guy on the phone told me 5 days. This has happened no less than 5 times. It is now Aug 19^th (or 2 weeks after they told me it was going to be here «this Thursday»), and still nothing. I feel like they might just take orders on out of stock items just to hold the money.

Wish I would have read reviews before taking my Simplicity tractor from my home (in Pasadena, MD) to Jack’s in Jarretsville, an hour plus drive. I wanted it serviced by a Simplicity Dealer so I took it to Jack’s. I told them that I had to jump start it each time I wanted to use it. The battery wasn’t getting recharged (I asked them to also change the oil while they had it to give them some extra work). They charged me for a Diagnosis and said that the battery had a bad «cell» and that was the problem. After selling me a new battery I got the tractor back… only to have the new battery drain down because it wasn’t getting recharged either. I called Jack’s and they told me to bring it back and have it diagnosed again. I told them I had already paid them for a diagnosis and didn’t think it was right to charge me for another when they didn’t fix the problem! I then took the tractor to a local mower repair shop who did a thorough diagnosis and found that the problem was actually the rectifier. Of course the bad rectifier had now ruined a second battery. It was a shame that Jack’s couldn’t be troubled with a more thorough diagnosis when they were hired for the job instead of doing only a halfway diagnosis (they obviously stopped looking for problems when they came across the bad battery and didn’t bother to look further whereupon, if they had they would have found the bad rectifier. :(

Bought a new Honda walk behind and had great service. Next year I walk in for parts to tune it up… and received terrible service. I guess unless you walk in with hundreds of dollars in cash, they don’t want to deal with you. I should have just gone to The Home Depot or Lowe’s in the first place.

Ordered parts and waited for a month. I received an email stating when the parts might come in. The day after they are supposed to be here I get an email saying the parts are no longer made. They have the charging your credit card thing down pat. Its the delivering the parts thing they are having problems with.

It’s just before midnight on 3/21/14…I placed an online order on 2÷26÷14. I still don’t have all the parts. I only ordered 3 items… I’ve only received 2. I’ve contacted Jack’s both by email and by phone to inquire about the unreasonable delay. In both instances, I receive the worst customer service I have ever experienced. My initial contact was through email. The email contact just stop replying and did not answer my questions… just left me hanging not know what was going on. So I followed up with phone calls where I was met with significant resistance and a very low level of professionalism, not to mention poor customer service. I eventually had to ask to speak with a supervisor… who assured me that my order would ship from 2 locations in a couple days… the company location (for the part that was on hand) and a drop-​ship direct from their vendor (back ordered parts that I was not made aware of until AFTER I input the purchase! — very, very cheesy… had I known the parts were not in stock, I would NOT have made the purchase). Now, I received a partial shipment! I received 2 emails with tracking numbers… both of those shipments have been received… but each of those shipments only had 1 of the 3 items enclosed in each. It’s is now the weekend and no one answered my phone call earlier today… I will be calling back to the supervisor Monday morning… either the remaining item will be FedEx’ed to me overnight/​10AM delivery for Tuesday morning or the order will be cancelled in full due to non-​fulfillment of the purchase agreement.
I finally reached the supervisor who now informed me that the back ordered part could not be filled. I needed all the parts to complete the repair… so missing an item was unacceptable. I cancelled the complete order as they said they would provide a full refund. After several days, they eventually email me a shipping label. But upon checking my banking account, I see that they only refunded me for the 1 part that they could not fill. I sent them emails asking for the full credit… but they never replied or credited my account. I eventually had to file with my credit card company for the refund.
I would NOT recommend this company. I tried to be optimistic because nearly all of the other reviews were negative… but in the end, the reviews were right. This place does not provide good customer service… in fact, it doesn’t really provide any customer service. I highly recommend you try some place else… even if it cost you a little more… you’ll be happy you did… and like me, wishing you’d followed the advice of the other reviews on this place.
I gave them one Star… but if there was a No Star or Negative Star rating, that’s what I would have rated them at.

Horrible! Customer service was appalling, rude and ineffective. Ordered parts, called after a week to see when they would arrive– hadn’t shipped. Flippant, arrogant and unsympathetic. Nothing in stock. Never bothered to email or call but still took money happily. If I would have checked the reviews all over the web, I would have found another supplier. I canceled order. Still waiting for reimbursement. Terrible customer service, but their sales prevention team works flawlessly!

We placed an order with this company for replacement parts for our lawn tractor several weeks ago. We have gotten nothing, but a run around from them. We have called numerous times and received only one small item from our total order. We are out $ 177.00 at this point and haven’t had use of our lawn tractor for weeks. This is beyond ridiculous and I warn everyone to stay away! Thankfully we have decent neighbors that let us use their equipment.
