This is in response to Joshua P’s review…
I wish I had known this review was out here, I would have written this sooner!!!
Joshua, If you would have called us after you installed the timer that didn’t work, Mike would have been happy to come back out at no charge. Instead you chose to put a negative review on this website.
We have been in business in the Jasper area for almost 9 years and this is the 1^st negative review. Well, I guess there’s a first for everything! You had a choice to call us back and let us try to figure it out, but you chose to troubleshoot it yourself.
Anyone in this field can make a mistake and/​or misdiagnose. It’s not a foolproof occupation. Everything with appliance repair is not in black and white and not as easy as most people think it is. There are a lot of failures that have the same symptoms (kind of like a dr. you go to them, they give you medicine, the medicine doesn’t work, you go back and sometimes you’ll go back more than once).
As for your remark about him being a «shady business owner», I (his wife) take total offense to that. That is your opinion, but Mike is one of the most honest people you’d ever meet. He didn’t steal from you or your family and these remarks are considered SLANDER!

Mike Meroney charged $ 65 for a service call after diagnosing our washing machine as having a faulty timer. He told us we needed to order a new one and he showed us how to install it ourselves. After spending just over $ 100 on the new timer and about one week later, we put in the new timer to find out that it was not the old timer to begin with. $ 170 later and no washer for over a week, we were back at square one. With no more money to put towards our washing machine, I had no choice but to troubleshoot it myself. Turns out that it was a short in the wire harness on the motor (he never even opened the cabinet to check that area of the washer). Don’t trust this shady business owner. And Mike, enjoy that $ 65 that you stole from my family, because you will never see another penny from me, only damage to your business’s reputation.
