They have been going through A LOT of changes. Last year — everyone had to eat ‘healthy.’ No more french fries, cookies, bleached flour etc. The food wasn’t bad and I didn’t have to ‘think’ about eating something. Now they are going through more changes — still doesn’t have french fries or cookies — but has a built in sushi bar. Meh. If i wasn’t so lazy I would bring my own lunch or walk to Subway. Rumor has it that its getting a PJs.

As mentioned on the prior review, this is a hospital cafeteria, not a real restaurant. As someone who has eaten there about 5 times a week for the past 3 years, I can say that the food is acceptable though not frequently anything I would seek out. As an employee, I get a discount, but without that it’s definitely overpriced. Note: avoid from about 11:45 — 12:30 as this is the peak of when the hospital employees are taking their lunch break and it gets excessively crowded with long lines. Also, they have recently made an effort to make the food more healthy, so certain things like french fries and non-diet soda are no longer available. UDPATE: the prices have gone up substantially and the food has gotten worse in many cases since I initially wrote this. Lowering this to 1 star.

Ummm… this isn’t really a café but the cafeteria in the hospital. For hospital food it’s OK. But I wouldn’t hunt this place down for a great meal or anything. I seem to remember decent pie… but I was pretty stressed last time I got food here.
