Established in 1992.

The practice was opened in Jefferson, Maryland in October of 1992. The firm has grown from a one-​person office to a staff of seven during the last tax-​filing season. Initially the office was located on the main street of downtown Jefferson. We have been in our current location in the Ingram complex, next to route 340 since October 1999. Our facility is handicap accessible and easily visible from the highway. Our professional staff is dedicated to serving you. Please take a moment to get to know a little about each of us.

«Jim» George graduated from Strayer College in 1983 and passed the CPA examination in November of 1984. After gaining valuable experience as an auditor and a tax specialist with two different firms he started his own practice in December of 1991. Today Jim functions as a general practitioner advising over 600 clients on a wide variety of business and individual matters. He is a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor. For the last eight years Jim has served as the Committee Chairman for the Maryland Society of Accountants annual Small Firm Principals Retreat. For his service was recently awarded the Societiy’s highest award, the Sidney Weinberg award.

Jim grew up in nearby Brunswick, Maryland. When he is not working he enjoys baseball and traveling.
