:Ordered online: Package never arrived, replacement package sat in their facility for over 7 business days with «label processed» and never shipped. Never received replacement package. I ordered this a month before christmas and was expecting it before christmas eve. Cancelled everything a few days before to buy in store for christmas. Horrible experience throughout the process trying to reach customer service, being hung up on by customer service and transferred from one rep to another trying to solve issues. Biggest headache ever trying to order one product — I will stick to amazon in the future to spare the headache, stress and to actually receive a product.

Alas Tiger Direct is closing. Good going out of business sales however and some good items available although going quickly.
I’ve been a fan for Tiger Direct for years and have bought many items from them but always online and never in one of their brick and morter stores. That said, there is one of their stores at Ga Ext 137 on I-​85 that I have passed many times and kept telling myself, I wanted to stop.
Coming back from Marietta Ga yesterday, I decided to stop and when I walked into the strore, was greated with a big sign «Store Closing». Merchandize was pretty picked over and some items were limited but still had a good selection on TV’s, most computers and camera’s. Almost bought a gaming computer but was concerned about techincal support down the road so I did not.
Talked to one of the employees on the way out of the store and she told me that Tiger Direct had been bought by PC Mall and all 3 stores were closing and Tiger Direct was being absorbed by them.
No experience with PC Mall but down the road will find out. Went on PC Malls website and did not see the broad selection that Tiger Direct had but maybe that will change.

worst customer service ever!!! i have been waiting for 2 ½ weeks for my printer at work this is a medical office and i have been calling everyday to track my order and all i get is (yes its still here and give us 24−48hrs for your new tracking number) no i dont want all of that i want to know when you guys are going to put my damn printer in the truck and mail it! i have never been so upset until now i will let best buy know how i have been treated!

I ordered a product online from the Tiger Direct online website last November 2014. The product was supposed to ship in 48 hours. A week later, the product still had not shipped. On 12÷7÷2014, I called to cancel and the customer support person said that she would cancel the order. She seemed to have trouble contacting the shipper, but said that she had notified them and would follow up with them. I received a cancellation number via email a few minutes later on 12÷7÷2014. On 12/​10/​2014, I received an email from Tiger Direct saying that my order was cancelled. On 2÷4÷2015, delivered a package for the item that was supposed to be cancelled. On 3÷28÷2015, I received an invoice for the cancelled order. I contacted Tiger Direct and told them than I had received the «cancelled» item and now I’ve received an invoice. They sent UPS to pick up the package and on 4÷1÷2015, UPS picked up the unopened box and returned it to Tiger Direct. On 5÷12÷2015, I received a delinquent payment notice. I don’t even have the product, since it was picked up at their request by UPS. I don’t think I will ever order from them again.

Service bad– it took me 15 mins to find help then the pc where the sales person looked for the item I was looking for (gps) it had 4 n stocked he talked n his Bluetooth to another person/​lady, the guys she had to walk to the back from the front of the store to pull it, we waited less then minute and she replied they have none! As I walked out she was still up front!!! REALLY !!

Decent selection and friendly service. Sort of advertised as an Outlet type store on the billboards on I-​85 but the prices don’t seem to be any better than what you find on their website.

Don’t bother making the drive all the way out here, the prices are much higher than Fry’s, and the selection is not as varied. It’s literally nothing more than a storefront for their warehouse location with limited items available.

I was so dissapointed. The store was clean, but just like a half empty warehouse. I thought there would be special sales or markdowns, the prices were not competitive. The selection wasn’t even as good as a Best Buy half the size. Sorry but wasted trip.

I recently bought a refurbished Dell laptop at this store. A manager graciously cut the price by $ 30, as it was a display model (their last one) and it lacked a box. So a good deal suddenly became an exceptional one. I had checked Frys (no refurbished laptops in store) and MicroCenter (had refurbished units, but they were boxed in a locked cage). The laptop lacks an HDMI port, but it does have a DisplayPort so I ordered an adapter for about $ 8, which works perfectly with my TVs. The computer has a few cosmetic blemishes, but for audio and video streaming, web surfing and chat it is just what I needed. While in the store I also spotted a 32 inch TV for only $ 140, which is the lowest price I could find after the holidays.
Update on June 25, 2014: After a very long trip with the laptop in a suitcase, some of the keyboard keys did not work. However, after a shutdown and restart it is working fine again. Good thing as the modest 90 day warranty has ended. Fortunately, a replacement keyboard for this Dell only costs about $ 16 if needed.
Update on December 4, 2015: The power supply failed today, but fortunately they are inexpensive to replace. The keyboard still acts up occasionally (oddly, when I am traveling), but hopefully un-​dusting it with canned air will do the trick. Still, refurbished electronics are the way to go.

I receive email ads from Tiger Direct. Today’s email has a Kingston 120gb SSD @39.99 after $ 20 rebate, limit 2. They refuse to sell me this item saying it is a misprint. We’ll this isn’t an ad sent to a printer. This is their own people sending me this advertisement. I will never shop with Tiger Direct again, I do not have any trust in this company.
This is the add. It does open differently on an iPad then it does other devices. If they can’t program a web page properly, they are just inept!
Tiger should honor there emails!!!

As a teenager I spent a great deal of money on parts from TigerDirect to build a computer for audio/​video editing. Years later I returned to purchase (2) blue tooth headsets, a Bose blue tooth player, and printer ink.
The time spent in the retail store was an absolute nightmare. The first cashier was kind but had difficulty explaining why his register could only transact customers with an account there, strange; but okay fine– we’ll just go to the next cashier. After waiting in line this next cashier greeted us and began to ring up our items. She messed up the Veteran discount. She rang up the Bose system twice, & chatted awkwardly about the transaction and peered around for someone to help her. She began to say over and over and over, «Hmm I can’t find my walkie talkie…», «…I don’t have my walkie talkie…» She wouldn’t call out to a cashier near by to help. She wouldn’t take a few steps to go to a manager, but strangely; just stood there.
She denied that the Bose system had been charged twice, even with the receipt in hand… and 2 separate charges on the receipt, plain as day, and with the price clearly reflecting the increase. Finally, I flagged a manager down for her and he came to help. He was a good guy and told her what to fix, but as he walked away, she quickly forget what he had told her.
We stood waiting in the front of the store for quite awhile as our family was waiting out in the car. I flagged down the manager again, and this time was moved to a new cashier. «Not a problem.» He assured us. The new cashier was told the situation and would remove the extra charge… except that when we finally had our turn at her register, she didn’t know what happened and we had to explain the story to her. She was kind but took more time to process the return, (what a pain.)
When my father inquired about his military discount he was told, «It’s funny, sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn’t. Just so I warn ya.» When we reviewed the receipt we could see she had awarded us a total «30 cent» discount off our $ 300 order. (Adding insult to injury.) We thanked her for removing the extra charge and left.
When we returned home to send out our rebate, we found that the (already cumbersome) process of confirm the rebate online first before sending it in the mail was further complicated by a third-​party rebate site that had no record of this product.
When I called TigerDirect for help with this vendor of theirs… I was put on hold for 20 minutes! (No exaggeration whatsoever.) I addressed the woman that came on with the utmost politeness, (Yes ma’am, thank you, please, etc.) never yelling at all.
I can honestly say, she was the most unprofessional, and cruel representative I have ever talked to, ever.
I asked over and over to «please stop interrupting me.» Yet she continued to raise her voice, and say things with a vindictive, punchy manner. She fought hard to leave me on my own and not help me resolve the vendor site. I regret terribly having not recorded the phone call, because she was a terror. But thankfully TigerDirect has the call recorded for their reference.
I am totally dissatisfied with the entire process.
I vow, I will never use TigerDirect again because of their bully representatives and I will go out of my way to ensure my colleagues and friends never spend their money here.

I ordered a flat screen monitor 6 months ago and it was here in 3 days. I decided to order another for my other computer. I ordered the same exact one from the catalog. It said it was in stock.
After two weeks I called and asked where my monitor was. The CS person was unable to tell me so she sent me to a supervisor. The supervisor told me it was in the warehouse. She couldn’t tell me when it would ship. But was going at me to buy their extra warranty on something I didn’t get or know if it was coming at all. I kept telling her NO! yet she persisted. She actually hung up on me with no answer.
I called back and got the big boss whomever that was. This guy didn’t want to talk about where my Item is or when I would get it. Then he put on the full court press for me to buy the warranty. After telling him NO! I had to ask what part of NO don’t you people understand. At least he said good bye before hanging up.
I will never purchase anything more from them. After checking further I found that 3 other companies had the same monitor for the same price. New Egg was the best in the past and will get my hard earned dollars from now on.

Stopped by here coming back from Lake Hartwell. I keep up with technology and their prices and other than a couple items of interest, I didn’t really see anything that made me say, «WOW!». I’ll stick with either MicroCenter near Gwinnett Mall off Pleasant Hill or the Fry’s also in that same area. Both have a better selection and the same or cheaper prices.
One thing that DID catch my wife’s eye was that some of the equipment had CompUSA labelling on it. Either this is really old stock from CompUSA or there are CompUSA stores out there that Tiger Direct now owns. All the CompUSA’s around Atlanta went out of business years ago. Would be worth asking if you’re considering purchasing something with a CompUSA box wrapped around it.

Why did I pull of the Interstate during a road trip to waste time after reading the Unilocal reviews? I will never know — maybe it was all the billboards building up the hype.
It’s nothing special, there prices aren’t any cheaper, and with the amount of employees walking around asking a question or getting help with far out their scope apparently.
As the other reviews stated. It’s definitely impressive on the outside but once you walk in it’s just another electronics store and I don’t see any special pricing. It was a «meh, I just wanted 10 minutes of my life.»

Decided to stop by on the way to UGA after having passed it many times before. Wish I had kept on driving.
Impressive on the outside, but as another review mentioned, most of it is the distribution center. The store itself is not huge or well organized. Makes Fry’s look like the Apple store. Sales staff seems eager to please.
ALL open returns are charged a 15% restocking fee, so you better love your purchase.
Worth a visit if passing by, but don’t make a special trip.

Personnel are not very knowledgeable, inventory is slow to change, instead of partitioning the area between check out and teh exit door, they pay someone to stnd there and check your receipt (like Fry’s) even though the checkout area is wthin 10 ft. of the door.

You’ll find a much better selection of electronics and computer accessories down the road in Fry’s, but there is still some good stuff to be had here at Tiger. I didn’t have a list, I was just browsing. But I still spotted a brand new handheld Brother labelmaker that was marked down from $ 34.99 to $ 14.99. Wow! When it rang up at the higher price at the register, the girl went right over, confirmed the price and honored it. I don’t know what happened, but I still got my deal.
Computers and computer accessories rule the roost here, but they also have a great selection of cables and connectors for televisions. Several «scratch and dent» and floor models are also available at good markdown sale prices.
If you’re zipping along on I-​85 between Atlanta and Charlotte, it’s worth a half-​hour of your time to browse. Like me, you might find a bargain!

Oh Tiger Direct, how I used to love you.
Before opening this distribution/​retail store in Georgia, you used to be able to get some pretty good deals on the website. Alas, now you must pay Georgia sales tax on-​line if you live in Georgia, not to mention at the store.
Not really worth the journey unless you live close by, but much better deals to be had on the interwebs or even other stores.
Store is kind of disorganized and confusing. Meh.

Compared to Best Buy, it’s a geek’s paradise. Compared to Fry’s it’s hardly worth the trip. Compared to Newegg it’s a mosquito bite on an elephant.
Pros: Closer to Athens than Fry’s, and a decent selection of some items. Didn’t interact with the floor reps, but they seemed to be working hard.
Cons: A fraction of Fry’s on-​site inventory. The place looks huge on the outside, but most of that is the distribution center, not the retail outlet. Some parts of the store look poorly organized and even junky.
