OTP can be quite unorganized at times making it almost impossibe to find anything you may have been looking for. They do have some good deals on certain things, however. We bought several things here for our house recently to decorate and I am sure we will be back in the next couple of days as we are getting ready for a pool party.

Put this store in the category of your Garden Ridge/at home stores. This past weekend was the first time visiting this store. As I browsed the store & started picking up things to buy, I was sure that I wasn’t going to get out of there for less than $ 50. My final bill was only $ 14! Some things are dirt cheap. Other things are cheap, but way too expensive for what they are. Other things are just expensive. My biggest advice for this store is to only go here when you’re needing something for your home. If you go aimlessly looking, then you might come out with more than a few things that you didn’t need at all. This store did seem more organized than at home. It’s also much smaller. I still spent nearly 2 hours in the store looking at things, but that beats 3 – 5 hours in a larger comparable store. I’ll most likely be back, but it’ll be when I’m looking for something specific.

This place has everything you’re looking for! However, I’m unsure about the quality. Most of the items were made in China probably by little kids. And the layout of the store seemed a little unorganized and chaotic. I did like A lot of the things that they had in the store but none of it was things I could live without. However, I did end up leaving with one item, an orange clock replacing one I broke that my fiancé I loved. So if you’re looking for something made in China this is the store for you. The throw pillows are actually pretty nice and the prices were very very reasonable which is probably the stores appeal for returning customers.

Great prices on pottery and huge selection. However be prepared to see that almost everything is from China. Staunch purchase ‘Made in the USA’ people should stay away. Everything is very organized and in its place. It seems much cleaner than Garden Ridge. Too bad I have to drive across the river to get there…

Used to be a great place to find household décor, now all the prices have gone way up. Won’ t be buying their overpriced goods.

It’s a housewares, arts & crafts, and home décor retail blitz! This place is very nice. First, it is a clean and well organized place. It is not a clutter mess like other stores of similar nature. It’s a big, bright, warehouse style store with more aisles than I could count. Let me tell you… the merchandise is packed in this place and at reasonable prices. Two thumbs up… err… I guess I should say«five stars»!

This is one serious No Frills, No Thrills kind of place, and they normally depress me a little because I was traumatized by a Community Discount store when I was a wee lass and never quite recovered. But for reasons which are way too boring to relate here, I have been looking forward to Christmas this year for the first time in… well a long, long time, and I have almost no Christmas decorations left. I need to decorate and until I walked into this place I had nothing special to do that with. Our friend, Jim, brought us down to see this place, certain that we would find the pre-lit trees we wanted at a far more reasonable price than asked by, oh… say, Grandin Road or Frontgate. And he was spot on. But not only that, we found wreaths and swags and garlands and lights and ornaments of all sorts, outdoor extension cords so we can be the scary Christmas ladies on the block as well as the scary Halloween ladies. We found big trees and little trees and light-up trees and red trees and green trees and flocked trees and gold trees and glittery trees and pathetic little sticks that were passing as trees. We found tins for our holiday baking, tree skirts, outdoor décor, a two-tier china cookie plate, nutcrackers, picture frames, and even a whole lot of metal garden décor which we’ll be going back for in the spring. We spent a LOT of money and filled the car trunk. But I will tell you without reservation that for what we spent, we wouldn’t have gotten half the merchandise in most other places. Now I’m the first to admit that a lot of the stuff was strictly dollar store material, but that’s true of any of the more cut-rate stores. You have to be able to see through the junk to the treasures and the things that can be repurposed. If you go there with an open mind, you’ll do well. There’s some nice stuff there at good prices. You just have to set your mind to searching it out. We spent more than two hours there and only saw about half the store.
