The brunch buffet is where it is at! Farm to table everything. Tons of choices. Waffles and omelets made to order. You must try the bourbon whipped cream. It also includes a bloody Mary or mimosa or a beer. All for 15 $. I loved it to brunches and you will to.

Solid microbrewery across the river from Louisville. We sauntered up after a nice bike ride. Have you ever had a beer after a bike ride? It tastes exponentially better. Full disclosure, I’m writing this way too late to remember things like what I ordered. I do remember thinking it was hella delicious and well made. The service was good as well and the outdoor seating was perfect for the day.

The food quality surprised me because it was such great quality. It’s not listed as a gastropub but it resembled one in artistic quality and taste of the food. 3 meals(fried chicken, sweet potato gnocchi, and pork belly) were flawless and not too pricey. Only downside was the lack of their own brewed beer. They have a selection of 10 drafts which had a good variety.

I should start by making it clear that I love breweries. I love them even better when they serve food. This spot does that. But… it did not stand up to my hopes at all. We rode our bikes over the big four bridge(which is so much fun to do) and decided to stop in for some lunch and a beer. We sat down and waited for our server to stop over. She brought us some water and menus, but then took forever to return. So starts the theme of our lunch. I was asking about a couple of the beers they had on tap-which was seemingly low for a place that brews their own beer. They only had like 3 of their own beers on and the rest, which was around 7 – 8 more maybe, were all from different breweries. Some near, and some not so much. Back to my questioning of the in house brews, I asked about one of them and she asked if I would like that one and I said sure. I will take one. Well, she brought me a small sample and then took forever to come back and ask if I in fact wanted a full pour. By the time she got back we had decided to just share one since we were already half way through our lunch. Lame. And… the red yeti that I ordered(an APA) was flat and not impressive at all. :( Our food was just ok. The french fries were the best part about this lunch. Very tasty and perfectly fried. The sandwiches that we ordered were not impressive and a bit expensive for the quality that we got. I do not know if I will go back. I might just give it some time. I will say-awesome job on decorating for the holidays! A massive lit and decorated tree in the front room, some presents hanging from the ceiling and candy canes on all of the tables. Extra points for that. :)

Nice place to stop after walking bridge. Friendly staff and nice outdoor seating. The Oliver red wine is very good.

We decided to try Red Yeti after hearing many mixed reviews. The people that love it, love it and the ones that weren’t crazy about it said they would try it again so I thought it’d be worth a shot. I had the brisket sandwich with fries and a half of a walnut and apple salad. Well if I was reviewing he salad only it would be 5 starts. It was great! Candied walnuts, goat cheese, Apple, grapes, and honey balsamic dressing. The brisket tasted like it was cooked 2 days ago and has been keeping warm in some au jus. Not what I was expecting. I’ll go back if you’re buying!

Update: we walked over the bridge one night and decided to try this place again. We were happy to say that this night redeemed the previous issue. Good was great, the beer was equally awesome! Highly recommend! (Just be careful when they’re busy) Was really hoping to try them tonight. Well the beer was good but after waiting 1.5 hrs when we were quoted 45 min, being told there were people ahead of me they thought I had a baby with me(I’m sorry but whose imaginary baby did I steal) and telling us we were next, they proceeded to seat 2 people who had been there at least 30 min less than us right in front of my face… I won’t be back. I had heard this was a good place, it was busy and seemed to be cool. I was cranky and hungry before we arrived. The ONLY redeeming quality was the beer.

We stopped in for lunch after walking across the bridge and visiting the nearby candy and pottery stores. Tried both of the in-house brewed beers and they were both good. Wife had salad and chili which she enjoyed. I had the burger, fries and Yeti pickle… top notch pubfood. We will be going back

Kinda a drag being there on Sunday as it’s brunch only menu till 3PM. The long walk over the Big Four bridge had us more winded than hungry-so I opted for a couple of Louisville Lagers(which I had discovered at Goodwood the previous day) until I realized that Lagunitas Pils was on tap! 23oz drafts of premium beer are like 4−5−6 bucks up here-like half of what I’m used to paying in the sunshine state! Food was tremendous! Smoked corn chowder and a trio of tacos-trout was ok-brisket good-pork belly to die for! I will be back next week! Cool bartenders in spite of fact I had UF shirt on – good natured joking-cute and fun place!

Can I actually give this place six stars, it was amazing. Our bartender/server was personable and knowledgeable. The food was to die for. Probably the best in the Louisville/southern Indiana area for pub fare. My husband had the truffle fries and taco trio; it was so good that his eyes are rolling back in his head. I had the crabcake pita with fries it was just amazing. Like nothing I have had before. And the jalapeño jelly that came with it! For a bonus they had really good music, and a great selection of craft beers. You can’t beat great beer, great music and phenomenal food. This place is definitely worth crossing the river for.

They always have a good selection of craft beer but beware they can only fill growlers with THEIR brew. The food here is better than average and I recommend a «flight» of beer(5) and the taco trio. They do get crowded being at the base of the Big Four Pedestrian bridge, so plan some.

I thought this was a kinda cool hipster place but I just was not wowed more than three stars. The wait staff was great along with the Truffle fries. The Fall Salad was good. The burger and mac and cheese were ok. Brew selection was disappointing… especially considering it is a «brewery.» I did not care for the Brevity Wit Beer but might simply be my taste in beers(I like hops). While I probably won’t go back, I would say to give this a try if you were down near the river.

Whoo hoo! We finally made it here on a warm summer night to sit outside and enjoy the weather, food and beer. Service was good, but food took a little longer to come out than it should have but it was totally worth it. The food was great… The menu was short and sweet and not much to choose from but everything that was ordered at the table was amazing! Buttermilk fried chicken, grits and pork belly, and three trio tacos with truffle fries and garlic Aioli! We parked in Louisville and walked across the Big 4 Bridge to the Yeti and ate dinner then walked back. Perfect night with great friends, amazing food and awesome beer. We will def return soon before the weather turns cold.

This place is a must go! Just across the bridge, it’s easy for any Louisville resident to access. I had the buttermilk fried chicken and I can confidently say it was the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. It’s boneless chicken, which is pretty atypical for fried chicken, but this actually made it better! Because it was boneless, I was able to use a fork and knife enjoy all of it instead of leaving meat on the bone. The batter for chicken was amazing! The buttermilk flavor was evident, and soooo delicious! My friends loved their meals as well, fried tomato and mac n cheese, brisket, burger, etc. Also, the truffle fries were so tasty! The dessert looked great, however I was to full to try any! Will be returning though!

Have been to Jeffersonville /Louisville many times but never had been to Red Yeti. You can bet I’ll be back. Our server was outstanding and so was the food. Started with the fries. What can you do to improve fries? Never thought you could but Red Yeti can. The lemon lime drink was great since I could not drink alcohol tonight. And the fried chicken, kale, and grits we’re out of this world. A must stop in to eat place.

We were on a road trip and stopped through here last week for dinner. I’m not sure if we caught the place on a bad night or what, but most of the staff seemed to be in sour moods. The hostess looked angry the entire evening, i don’t think she smiled one time as she kept walking back and forth through the restaurant. Our server was not much at helping talk about or answer questions about the beer — it is a brewery so when you ask about a specific beer you expect a more knowledgeable answer than what I received. I asked about a beer they had on tap and he said«yeah, I tried it once, it was weird»…that was so helpful. The food was fine, nothing spectacular but not bad, the service was probably the biggest downside of the evening and the place.

This place has been delicious every time I have been. My husband’s only complaint tonight was he felt the brisket had a little to much fat on it. The service is always great, though and we will be back time and time again.

I just created a Unilocal account so I could tell everyone how amazing my meal at Red Yeti was tonight! After a nice walk on a Big 4 Bridge, a friend and I walked over to Red Yeti for dinner. Since they brew their own beer, I ordered the«RYBC I’m a Blond, Honey» — pretty good! Went down smooth, a nice lighter beer. To eat: I ordered a half size pear and walnut salad with the house dressing of the day, a blueberry lime vinaigrette. OHMY. The candied walnuts and sweet bacon really set the salad apart from other typical restaurant salads. My friend and I also split the Taco Trio. All 3 were good(trout, pork, brisket), but the brisket was TODIEFOR. The tortillas were the perfect texture, and the taco toppings complemented the meat perfectly. If I had to say one negative, the service was a little slow. Im such a talker that I didn’t really notice, but someone else may have been annoyed. Overall, I love this place. I’ll definitely be back!

The items on the menu I have tried were all very tasty and fresh with local ingredients. They have dressings of the day for their salads and the last I had was a cucumber and lime dressing. It was delicious. They have a nice list of current craft beers on draft including a couple of their own. I recommend this place and the location is a great perk of it too. Close to the Big Four Bridge and the river. Seating at the bar or outside are my favorites.

Perched right down the street from the Big Four bridge on Jeffersonville’s main street, Red Yeti waits to be spotted(see what I did there with the Bigfoot reference?) by those who have suddenly found themselves in need of pub food and a beer. If you don’t cross the bridge, there’s plenty of parking on the street or in the super-convenient free lot across the street. Openning the big double doors just past the outside tables(nice!), we looked into the red and black interior through a haze of smoke. This wasn’t cigarette smoke. No, this was kitchen smoke. My partner in crime would later state flatly that her hair smelled like meat. True, a natural aphrodeziac to some, the stinging in my eyes over the course of our 2 hours there was a lot to get through in order for a lady’s hair to smell like smoked meats. Exhaust fans were clearly not the stong point. Beer should be the strong point! This is a brewery, after all! Lead me to the list of house-made beers, immediately! Exclamation point! One? You, you only have one in-house beer on tap? No, no, I do like IPA’s and I see that this is an INPA: Indiana Pale Ale because it isn’t quite an India Pale Ale and Indiana sounds like… moving on. It was good, a little sweeter than a typical IPA and the hops were there, but kept at bay. I would loved to have tried others, but there were only guest kegs after that. Good guests, but I kind of expect more from a brewery. One of our party tried the root beer which came out a little warm and lacking fizz and a distinctive flavor. Others at our table got cocktails which were fine, but not on par with the barkeeps at other locales like The Exchange. But this is a brewery! With one in-house brew on tap… How about some food?! We placed our orders and waited about 40 minutes for it to be brought out. Now, I was with friends I hadn’t seen in months, so we occupied the time with witty banter. I caution that if you don’t have friends capable of witty banter, this could seem an inordinate amount of time to wait for sandwiches, so make good friends. The hold-up, I surmised, was the veggie pot pie. Pot pie takes a while to bake with its crust and all. However, this wasn’t a pot pie, this was really stew with a puff pastry on top. Not pot pie. Pot pie’s cousin. I had the brisket sandwich and it was a little chewy, but overall decent with the greens which were actually pretty good. Service was good but there were probably 4 different people who came to the table to help, so a little confusing. Red Yeti has potential, but I’d like to see it get on its legs for a little while longer before I try it again. Also, the big vinyl decals in the windows? Get someone to make you some vector art of your logo. You can’t scale up jpgs; they get all pixelated and look bad. Little things, man.
