Meet the Business Owner

Larry B.

Business Owner

Larry is one of the founding members of the firm and has over 25 years experience advising privately held companies, professional practices, investment partnerships and entrepreneurial people in all areas of taxation, accounting and auditing, business management and life style management.

Larry graduated from American University, in Washington, D.C. with a Business Administration degree with concentrations in Accounting and Finance. He received his formal accounting training at a prestigious medium size accounting firm in New York City. After spending several years there, working in both the auditing and tax departments, in 1991 he joined forces with Elliot J. Katz. In 1995, they formed Katz & Bloom, CPAs, LLC.

Larry is currently on the Board of Directors of the Nassau/​Suffolk Chapter of the National Conference of CPA Practitioners (ncCPAp) and a co-​chairperson of the MAP committee. Larry has served on the Estate and Personal Financial Planning committee and the Medical and Other Pro
