Good food and good people. Not expensive and tasty. I love everything except chicken lasagna. The best habichuelas on white rice as well the sweet habichuelas that is a dessert. Try them it sounds nasty but is delicious.

I ate here for the first time this sunday and was very impressed. I ordered scrambled eggs with mangu. The eggs were mixed with onions and peppers and were fabulous! The mangu was delicious. The portion was so big I couldn’t finish! And I agree with another reviewer: The café con leche is the best I’ve had!

Food is always good here. I usually get the baked chicken and rice and beans and it is always so tasty. The meatballs here are amazing, but they don’t always have them. Never a disappointment.

I love this little place, it feels like home to me. I know the owner very well and I am a regular. The food is delicious and fatty. I go their for the freshly cooked breakfast with fried cheese, salami, mangu, and rice and beans, sometimes I get a lunch special but it is not as good and is sometimes dry. The café con leche here is the best in NYC by far. It’s one dollar and it is amazing! They changed the name from boca loca to coral restaurant about half a year ago. I like the old name more but with a new name comes a great renovation. I’ve noticed more people coming by to have lunch and now it is always filled with hungry people. Ahh, the beauty of places like this.
