Joe is a great instructor… if you follow his instructions you will pass the road test in a heartbeat.

Amazing customer service — they accommodated me as a result of a last minute screw up by another driving school and even threw in an extra refresher session. Parallel parking they taught was just really simple and I learnt it in under 5 minutes. Ask for Kathy!!! :)

I just had a two hours lesson — basically to get familiar with the car I was taking for the exam the next day. Joe is a really great instructor. He pointed out a few things I would have missed in the exam. The exam went very smooth.
p. s. I am not an experienced driver. I learned how to drive using the services of another driving school (Amar), which in terms of professionalism sucked badly. I had arranged with the other school to go to the test but somehow they cancelled it the day before my test… I feel fortunate I contacted Amin and that I had Joe to instruct me in the last day.

The instructor didn’t show for the lesson I scheduled. No one even called me, and the office wouldn’t pick up either. Go elsewhere.

I am actually giving «NO STAR» because i dont want anybody else to suffer.
here are my points. i ma silently praying to god while writing this review because i am sfae home today.
1. Before i booked a session, i specially asked for an English speaking instructor. I n spite of that they have assigned an Spanish person who barely speaks english and says «brah» for breaks.
2. He abruptly changes lanes with out even looking at the road, no signalling and keeps on buzzing when we were behind the school bus. obviously I got yelled at and shown fingers, hands .
3. I don’t think adjusting all the mirrors according to his convenience and teach me how to parallel park and take K-​turn is correct way of teaching driving :(.
In one hour class, he barely looked at me and taught me. all the time checking phone.
worst part is the moment he is out of mobile he changes lane.

The instructor that they gave me for my road test day is not the instructor that i’ve requested. I had a session with cathy the first time i booked at this driving school & she is good plus the car is still in good condition. Thats why when i booked the second time over the phone for my second session & for my actual road test at DMV, i requested cathy again as my instructor, but instead they send me a different instructor, old car & in not good working condition. The car will give you a hard time turning the steering wheel & you will hear a noise underneath while you’re turning. The instructor told me that she will not bring me to DMV after i pass because the driving school is a bussines & they cannot afford to wait or atleast bring us to DMV in jersey or bayonne. Aftet i passed the road test, it took me about 1 hour before i reach home because we went to the house of 1 more of her student that will have a road test aftet me. A total of 3 students are inside the car that is why we have a long wait. The receipt that she gave me is just in a piece of paper & not the original receipt. When you contact this company, be sure to tell them that you want a good working condition car!

Had a driving lesson today and let me tell you it was spectacular. Had the appointment for 1 and they were right on time and when I was driving they really boosted my confidence so much. I will always prefer this school over the others the instructor was so nice and patient.

I’m so glad that I never met the instructor, Maria! Taking lessons from her would be a painful experience. First, she was 30 min late (no one bothered to call to let me know). Then when she called to say that she had arrived at my house, she kept on saying «I’m here. Come on come on!» Why was she hurrying the customer when she was the one who was late? When I got outside, I didn’t see her car so I called her. She was at the wrong address! She messed up but no apology. She wasn’t going to come to my place at that point and I didn’t want her to come anyway! She told me to call the driving school. Yeah right! Why would I book another appointment and take the chance of having her as the teacher?

i had a female instructor who spoke with accent and super impatient. she doesnt teach, she only yell at you. there was no «teaching» whatsoever. i would never book with them again. the car was old too. nothing made me want to go back again

IMPRESSED. was able to schedule a very much needed last minute parking class 2 HOURS before my road test! The instructors were great and very informative, overall i had a great learning experience and would recommend there service. I gave a 4 star and not a 5 because the definitely can be a little more organized. :)

I had 2 of their instructors, Orlando and Maria. Orlando was okay, but Maria was great. She was never late and put me behind the wheel at the first time, and made me confident about it. I didn’t know a thing about driving, and yet, after taking 3 – 4 classes with her, I could parallel park perfectly. First time I failed (I missed a stop sign, which was not her fault at all, coz she warned me again and again about that). But when I practiced for the second time, I asked for her only, she even agreed to do 6 – 8 AM on a cold winter morning (that was the only time I could manage). She is very kind, supportive and friendly, makes you feel comfortable. She teaches in a very efficient yet simple way. Second time I passed with flying colors (even the examiner said I did pretty well). She gave me a big hug, also waited for an extra hour to get me my license (though she was running late for her next student practice appointment). I simply loved her and will recommend her to anyone.

Kathy is a great instructor. Have taken several classes with Amin driving school… It’s good. The only negative this is that the cars are quite old, but I think that is changing.

Horrible, terrible. … do not book with this driving school.. I had maria as my teacher and she was on her phone 50 percent of the time and the othet 50 per she was filling out papers and organising them while I was driving… I was left to figure things out on the road in horrible scary traffic… maria was extremelly rude to me while I was in traffic… she is not fit to be an driving instructor. … I also had a male driver he was also on his phone for about 45 min… .money was their first priority. … They never ask me my name …

I just received my license yesterday. Thanks to Joe, josee and Cathy. They are all very nice people. Special mention to Cathy who helps in boosting your confidence. Joe is really good learning the exact way specially in places like jersey city or New York. I will definitely recommend to take few classes with him. Josee has been also very nice, and good thing is they all like to get ur license done. They are also very punctual with their timings and appointments unlike other schools in the area.

You put an Asian girl, a Spanish lady and a huge language barrier behind the wheel in the city and what do you get?
A car … in flames.
But thankfully none of that happened so I kissed the ground when I got out of the car but I sure felt like I was going to crash every 5 minutes while driving. The driving instructor was okay. She didn’t do much teaching, it was more like «winging it». She went on her phone twice and mentioned about me paying her an hour before my lesson ended. Not very professional. Plus, the big language barrier didn’t help either. I’d have to ask her where she wanted me to drive and sometimes I’d hear the wrong thing. It seems like a small problem but it’s a big deal when you’re driving, especially on the highway and for the first time nonetheless.
On the bright side, she was very patient and encouraging especially when I got really nervous. You can call and ask which instructors teach on what day and see who is the best teacher for you. Everyone differs. The company itself was very professional.

Had 3 lessons with them. It was good, though last session was taken by Joe, he was good, but was not good in explaining the parallel parking and also waste lot of timing in talking.
In second session a Mexican guy came who taught very good, and he was very Nice and polite. He explained very good and in very easy way.
I will recommend this Driving School, make sure you say that you don’t want Joe to be trainer, rather you want Mexican guy
