Phone conversation went as follows: «Hi, is this the TV repair shop? Es Carlos. TV Repair? **mumble, no idea** Do you buy damaged TVs? No english» I can’t imagine how a place like this is still viable in 2015

Last year, brought in a 32-inch Samsung flatscreen TV that intermittently went off. I went online and diagnosed problem as faulty power supply unit. Brought TV in Baez, told him the problem. He looked at it and said problem was the color gun. Paid $ 150 for repair. Brought it home, still didn’t work. Brought it back: Baez said problem was power supply unit(!!!) and that it would be ANOTHER $ 150 to fix(!!!) [TV cost $ 400 new.] But hevsaid he thought he could find another used for maybe $ 50. That was the last we ever heard from shop. After not hearing for a week, I dropped by store. It was closed and a sign said they were on vacation for two weeks. Bought new TV instead. Baez still has our old TV and our $ 150. But now he has this story too. I can’t believe they’e still in business. Please avoid.
