The Daniel G. 1 star review is spot on, as are the four hidden 1 star reviews. Daniel, he probably wasn’t answering his phone because it was turned off for non-​payment … or he was too drunk.
The «Jen P.» 5 star review was written by the woman who lives with him and is supposedly his daughter. They live in a second floor apartment. They don’t have a yard, never mind a tree, lol.
Do NOT hire this man for anything. Do NOT give him a red cent of your hard earned money. He only accepts cash because he has a lien on his bank account. You will never see your money again. He will b.s. you about fake problems that don’t exist, give you fake receipts for things he didn’t actually buy, change the amount on receipts i.e. a 1 to a 4, constantly pump you for an «advance» and act mortally wounded when you tell him to cut the crap.
All the comments in the hidden reviews are straight from his play book; he needs an advance because equipment is broken, no money for gas, he needs to pay «his guys», blah blah. DO NOT DO IT. You will not see your money again.
He had no shame when busted for stealing. He felt he deserved it for showing up. I am not joking.

He was arrested yesterday.

I Hired Frank to do work at my house, i gave him over $ 4,000 because i was told i could trust him (by his own family). Here i am over a year later with no work completed and im still out the money.
It has been one lie after another and one excuse (and thats just when i can get him to answer his phone), Even today, he was supposed to call me about getting me money, and i never hear back, 4 phone calls later, i feel like this is my last resort.
ill probably never see my money because this guy is a scum bag and simply doesn’t care, so i figure i should at least warn everyone else out there not to trust him or his company

Davila’s Tree Service (Franky Davila and crew) did a great job removing huge branches that were blocking light from our backyard in downtown Jersey City, NJ. We were quoted a great price, the crew was prompt, professional and cleaned up thoroughly after themselves. I would highly recommend their tree trimming and removal services. Great job, great price.

A tree had fallen in my yard, and I called Davila’s Tree Service. They came right over and he gave me a very reasonable estimate. The following week, they came and finished the job. They worked hard, cleaned up well, and finished the job in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend Davila’s Tree Service to anyone who is needing work done with trees.
