Martin Laderman is literally absolutely AMAZING in his position. He directly deals with residents and genuinely cares to resolve their issues. He checked multiple times with me to make sure everything was resolved. He’s extremely responsive and I am truly so grateful that I had the pleasure of dealing with him. Thank you so much for your help. My son will be so happy this weekend going to the pool!!! :)

Martin Laderman and his team have really been a pleasure to work with, they respond to emails promptly and anytime I have a question it is answered in a courteous and professional manner. This correspondence shall serve as notice to you to cease and desist in your continual, ongoing, harassing and threatening conduct and communications about and towards mem property management and Martin Laderman, which serves no legitimate purpose, and appears to be designed solely to wrongfully undermine interfere with both the existence and prospective contractual relationship of mem property management and Martin Laderman with their customers, clients, vendors and employees as well as to undermine and interfere with the prospective economic advantage of mem property management and Martin Laderman in the industry.

In sum, if proven, in addition to potential punitive damages you may be found liable for treble damages for the harms you wrongfully, plus all attorney fees and costs. It may be incurred by mem property management and Martin Laderman as a result of your wrongful conduct.
While immediate concessions of your wrongful conduct will not undo the damages you have already done for which Martin Laderman and mem property management will seek legal re-​dress immediate concessions of your ongoing campaign to do harm to his business and reputation of Martin Laderman and mem property management may prevent further harm. To that end, we hereby demand that you immediately cease and desist in your erroneous, continual, ongoing, harassing and threatening conduct and communication about towards mem property management and Martin Laderman.
While you may feel safe at this time hiding behind the your emails you think you enjoy; ultimately will not shield you and unlike roaches that scatter and disappear under light that is cast upon them, and cannot be found your identity is already known and will be known to the court to face the consequences of your wrongdoing.
Finally, please be advised that Martin Laderman and mem property management reserve any and all rights and defenses. They may have in connection with these matters and waved. None of said defenses by this email or by any discussions aimed at resolving this matter. In addition, mem property management, Martin Laderman shall not be deemed to have made any admissions or declarations against interest or to have otherwise admitted liability in these matters by reason of this letter or by such discussions.

Matthew Laderman has been managing my property for almost two years now, so this review is long overdue. I really have nothing but positive things to say about him, whenever there is an issue he jumps on it right away and does whatever he can to resolve it. I truly am impressed by his efforts and the rest of mem property, they all have always been very helpful. :)

Im very happy with Martin and MEM management. After speaking with him about a recent elevator issue, he was able to provide me with the facts about how his team is addressing the issue. I felt that he understood my concern and has effective measures in place to deal with it, including having a repair company addressing breakdowns, making sure it is up to code and having the city ensure the permits are up to date.
Martin also mentioned that our building is undergoing updates both cosmetically and technically as well. In light of recent mail theft (which is beyond managements control) he is expediting cameras to hopefully negate this. I appreciate that management is trying to make residents safer and doing their best to facilitate this.
I found it was alot easier to reach him by email and am happy in knowing that he is quick to respond to my concerns.

MEM Property Managment is a professional full-​service managment company in Jersey City. I met Martin when my building made the switch to MEM. Martin is a true professional and has been in the industry for over 21+ years. I call the offices and they immediately address all my concerns. I would recommend them to any condo association in the Hudson County area.

I am really impressed with mem property management. When I started looking for new management companies for my condo association, mem was the quickest out of about 10 companies to contact me back.
Prior to signing on with mem, mem management was above par with background knowledge on local laws. We needed structure in place that our prior management company was lacking and mem had that. An added bonus — the price was right too!
Once we signed on, mem had a different person to manage the buildings and someone else for the accountant. Marylee who is our direct manager comes on the property to do site visits and follows up with a weekly task list so we understand what has been action during the week. Also involved in the owner, Martin. Having dealt with a much smaller company, it was great to be able to escalate if needed (but it is not really needed:)) It is going to someone who is personally invested in the business’s success and not someone so far removed from the day to day business that you probably find with larger companies.
Last night we had our first association meeting. mem came properly prepared with balance sheet information, budgets, information on 101 of condo ownership, etc. It set up my association and mem for a successful business relationship. We have 1 tough outspoken owner that while his comments are important, how he delivers is not the best. Martin invited him down to the office and spoke to him today, answered all his questions and might actually closed an outstanding payment of 3+ years from an owner just by spending time with him. Shows that he cares for the success of his business and the association. All in all, mem is great. I wish we changed years ago.

I have had the opportunity to deal with Rosa Labrador a few times immediately after closing on my unit and she was extremely helpful. I recently had the opportunity to discuss an issue with Martin Laderman and he was very professional and took care of things immediately. From my point of view, MEM is among the best in the Property Management business and it is always a pleasure working with them.

MEM has been taking care of my condo building in Jersey City for the past few years and we have seen improvements in the daily maintenance of our building. In addition to that I have been thrilled with my most recent outreach for assistance in planning to have the windows updated in my unit.

I am a unit owner in a Condo Association that has recently hired MEM as our property management company. The previous property management companies we have worked with were a nightmare to say the least. However, MEM has thus far proven to be both professional and responsive. Martin and Danny P. always respond to emails quickly and have been great about addressing any issues that I present to them. I was living in one of the buildings Mem manages and they have been very helpful. Quick to respond and accommodated my moving needs. Most management companies are terrible but they were helpful.

I work 9 – 5 M-​F and was not able to make it to the office in my complex to pick up a pool pass before the July 4^th weekend. I sent an email to MEM asking if they could accommodate and I received a call back right away from Mary saying that she would do he best. I then received an email from Martin Laderman letting me know that I would get my pool pass, even if he had to drive it to me himself. what wonderful service! I am truly amazed.

Martin is a good person to work with, he helped us with issues every time we asked for his help. This is a difficult field to be in, but I believe they try their best to appease all of their clients.

MEM was the property manager for my condo building at the time I purchased a unit there. I did not care for the level of service that they provided. The condo board elected to replace them with a different property manager with whom I believe provides a much higher level of customer service.
I am unable to provide additional details because MEM sent me an email notice to cease and desist immediately upon my posting a more detailed evaluation of their services that I believe was completely factual in nature.

Last year, my building switched to a different management company. We’re still cleaning up the mess that Martin Laderman and MEM left behind — including a costly dispute about a special assessment that wasn’t conducted properly. Several months ago, out of the blue, I got an email from Martin, asking me to call him. He told me that he’d be happy to help me (and other owners) in our long-​standing dispute by signing affidavits on our behalf and speaking at a mediation hearing… provided I amended my Unilocal review to give him at least three stars. I told him that if he told the truth about what he did when he was the manager, and if the dispute was settled in favor of the owners he hurt financially, then I’d consider writing a new review stating that he helped rectify the horrible situation that he caused. Since I wouldn’t give him a better review immediately, Martin refused to attend the hearing. Working with MEM cost my neighbors and me thousands of dollars. Stay away!

MEM property management has been a staple in the Hudson County area.
They are excellent at what they do and their staff is helpful and professional. They have many years of experience.

So far I have dealt with Mr. Laderman of mem properrty and a guy named Martin. The communication has been prompt which is important for when things go wrong. There was a serious noise coming from construction outside and I was extremely aggravated and losing sleep. After contacting the property management company they were responsive and let me know what it was for and when it would stop. Other companies would ignore me which was really annoying. I do have the phone call logged I can upload for others to hear just let me know Unilocal mods how I can do so.

MEM Property Management has been an excellent choice for our community. Marty has been «hands on» and engaged with the management of our community. The services are superior to anything we have experienced in the past. MEM exhibits superior customer service and gets involved with homeowner meetings, vendor selection and board meetings. MEM is responsive to all requests and acts as an advisor by making suggestions for best practices. Overall, I am 100% satisfied with the services provided my MEM Property Management

Dealing with management companies is never fun, but due to a leak in my apt coming from the unit above, I had to get MEM involved.
The unit owner above my apt did not seem to think or believe that the leak was an urgent matter. She would tell me she was getting the leak fixed, but the problem would still remain. Not only was is it inconsiderate of her to downplay the urgency of the matter, but it was a health issue as well. The water that was leaking had foul smell and it would stink up my apt.
I ended up having to call MEM so they could maybe intervene. I spoke to Matt Laderman and he was more than helpful! The leak wasn’t fixed immediately, but he did follow up with me several times until the problem was taken care of. When I could not get him by phone he would respond to my emails pretty quickly. He really made this uncomfortable situation a much easier one to deal with.

I am posting this review as a vendor and someone who has worked with mem property management company for the past few years. We work with him in the capacity of managing his Google ads/​online marketing campaign, we notice that mem property management is very proactive in promoting the company via the website, making sure that their clients know how to find and communicate with them.
I find Martin very responsive in his emails and prompt in giving directive. Additionally they pay their bills promptly, which is of course always a plus. Martin has been a reliable long-​term client.

Understanding the care and detail with which he handles his company, I am sure this carries over to the way they manage their clients as well.

Update to my previous review about MEM Property Management and owner Martin Laderman. It’s been more than a year now and I just got a call from Martin telling me that MEM is no longer the property managers at Brookside Condominiums. He is asking me to remove my bad review about his management company and that it was not his company’s fault they had nothing to do with it and that I fell victim of the board association and their lawyers. At the time the representative of MEM Property Management was Tim Balitsos of which Martin has told me he has fired because of the bad treatment of the owners and tenants at Brookside Condominiums. Martin admit that Tim mistreated the owners and tenants.
For I am not a person who holds grudges and I am a person who believes a person deserves a second chance. Martin has offered his help in fixing my situation even though his company is no longer the property managers here at Brookside Condominiums of Iselin NJ. My new ratting for MEM has gone up from one (1) to two (2) stars because it seems that Martin is trying to make good. Unilocal review readers keep reading and I will keep you posted and hopefully with Martin’s help we can resolve my situation.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Mr. Laderman on the NJ Cooperator Expo. I was shocked to discover the negative reviews about him here on Unilocal.It is a very difficult thing to be a Property Manager when your job is to uphold community standards and rules that others choose to not follow. For this reason, property management companies really do not belong on Unilocal however I do feel that the commitment and professionalism that MEM Property Management upholds deserves to be recognized.
During the expo I was very impressed with Mr. Ladermans drive to help others and to support and care for the members of his communities. I witnessed this first hand! He is a leader in the industry and as a real estate investor myself, a true inspiration to younger generation investors.
Properties under MEM Property Management are breathtaking and are maintained under the highest standards. This is something that can be hard to find in NJ/​NY these days. Any time I have been put in touch with their office the staff has been professional and always very helpful.
The reason why I am giving them 4 stars is because I am not a community member. I have worked with many property management companies in South Beach, Miami and only wish they held the same standards as MEM! If you have not been with a property management company before, then you do not know that they are the best of the best!
