It’s not New York pizza, but what are you to do when it’s the closest pizzeria branch around? I’ve had no problems with ordering, great specials, not my daughter’s favorite. She actually doesn’t like pizza, but it does the job for me. We stick to pizza and not the wings. Don’t like them at all. It’s like they’re not cooked enough. The boneless chicken is ok, not great, just ok

This is the worst customer service I have every experienced! !!! We ordered over an hour ago and our pizza delivery guy keeps calling to say he is outside! !! He is not & why would he not ring our bell he continues to tell us to come outside to find him! He is not on our street! 3 calls into the restaurant and still no answer! Do not order!!! Absolutely disgusting. This was NOT the drivers fault. He was given the wrong address and the restaurant did NOTHING to help our situation. The driver can’t be blamed it’s poor management from the inside.

It is Papa John’s so don’t expect anything glamorous. However, they get four stars because: 1) The delivery is always quick. 2) They have never messed up my order. 3) I must admit, I like the chicken poppers. They are way better than the wings. 4) Half off the entire order if the hometown teams win.

I love their food! This is definitely the best pizza around. It’s hard to find parking around but the delivery is pretty quick, usually around half an hour. I could eat here everyday!

I can only review on delivery since I have never been to the actual location. I love the Hawaiian pie from here(without onions and extra pineapple) and that’s what I always get plus some buffalo wings. Delivery is always fast and they get my order right since that’s very important to me.

Absolute disaster of a place. Ordered in for a basic pizza which was delivered after(no exaggeration) 2 hrs 45 mins!!! Of course I was calling in every 45 mins, but the ill-mannered manager kept lying point blank that the delivery guy was only a couple of minutes away. The delivery guy did not even carry change for 20 $, and basically took the remainder of the 13 $ bill amount, as his undeserving tip. Swearing all along, and challenging me to call the cops for him not carrying change. Needless to say that after nearly 3 hours, the pizza was stone cold, and the extra fat had solidified, which made the sight terrible. But as fate had it, I was terribly hungry that I eventually had to eat the pizza. Which I learnt later, was a bigger mistake. I had an upset stomach and had to visit a doctor the next day. NEVERAGAIN!!! NEVER!!! and nor should YOU!!!

I know it’s not Carmine’s but Papa Johns is one of my guilty pleasures. I love ordering online, being able to accumulate Papa points for a free pizza, and taking advantage of their long list of deals. For example, just recently I ordered a 5-topping large, thin crust pizza for $ 12. Plus if any of the local teams win(Jets, Giants, Mets, Yankees), you can receive a code for additional discounts. I always order online for delivery so I don’t have to bust out the vest to pick it up. Yes — I have to admit, I’m a fan.

I always order online because it’s easier than talking to the people who work there. Sometimes they can be gruff. I live fairly close to the store, so delivery is super fast and my pizza is always piping hot and fresh from the oven. They generally have decent specials. The delivery drivers are friendly, which is really all I ask. I have never had a bad experience ordering from there– though I agree it’s not in the best neighborhood so I’ve not actually gone into the store.

Yo, is this area South Central? Is this Compton? You better look like you’re a cast member in Menace to Society to enter this joint. I ordered 2 slices, hid in an alley, and ran back to pick it up. It was the nastiest faux-pizza I’ve had, sauce was too salty and crust tasted super old… I yacked it up 2 hours later. As a child, if my papa fed me this pizza, I’d call DYFSASAP.

Every now and than I get a desire for the pizza of my youth. Growing up near pete and elda’s and VIC’s(non delivery) and living in the mean suburbs of the shore my parents turned to the BIG3(formerly the Big 2). Pizza Hutt, Dominoes, And Papa John’s. Now going back to for some reason feels like I am eating at home with the rents, which to me feels supertastical. This is Papa johns your mass produced pizza. Everything about it screams average. Crust, Sauce, Cheese… the only thing that sticks out are the ingredients, which among the big three, Are best at papa johns. The Prices here are no joke either. GO Ahead and look it up. 10 $ gets you a pizza with everything atm. So if you didnt grow up around NNJ/NYC and want some pizza from home. Go for this one its just as good.
