Usually Pepboys are very professional but this particular service center is totally disappointing. I booked an appointment for 9AM. I reached at the service station on time and they informed me that they already have 4 cars in queue. They wanted me to check back at 11:30am. Even they were not sure at 12PM that how long they need to inspect my car.
They are unprofessional and don’t respect the appointment. Either they should not take the appointment or they should call in advance to change the schedule.

MAKE SURE YOU KNOW YOUR OIL BEFORE COMING TO THIS PLACE!!!
For a routine oil change, they tried putting synthetic in my car for $ 70 when the manual says regular for $ 30.
They insisted the only type my car could take was synthetic, because that’s what the computer was telling them.
Know your shit before coming here.

I live in Manhattan and travel to this Pep Boys for all my tire needs, oil changes, etc. These guys are STELLAR.
Recently, there was some confusion as to what was needed vis-​a-​vis a radiator flushing and possible new thermostat (which it turned out we DID NOT NEED) after my wife brought the vehicle in and they resolved everything QUICKLY AND PROFESSIONALLY. These guys are good at what they do, and they are quick, too.
Jason, the manager, CARES. He’ll get to know you and your car, and you will realize you are truly in great hands here.

My girlfriends car has tire pressure issues and we called and stopped over to Pep Boys on a lucky hunch. The guy working the counter was extremely nice and provided great customer server. He said, it may take an hour or two to finish and look into the issue. We stepped out for 30 minutes and then received a call that the issue has been resolved. When we returned, he explained the issue and didn’t even charge us! Extremely generous and professional. Will be returning in the future.

EXCELLENT SERVICE AND PRICE… without an appointment I went in for rear brakes and an oil change and tune up. That was done quickly and car is running GREAT. But I also needed a new timing belt package. Nolan came through with matching competitive pricing and excellent service. I was there longer than I had planned but for my upcoming 2000+ mile round-​trip Thanksgiving family reunion… I feel confident driving my car with the peace of mind it will be smooth sailing all the way. Everyone there treated me well and with respect and I recommend this place with all my future work on our three cars.

My wife took her car here last week for a routine oil change. One week later, the car is leaking oil and had to be towed. Tow truck guy confirms whoever did the oil change did not seal the tank properly. Now we’re both late for work after dealing with this nonsense. Never going back here obviously. Get it together.

I used to go to Pepboys Marin Blvd in Jersey City but since they closed this location I started coming to the Pepboys in Kennedy Blvd. I had my tire installation done here — the service was quite bad! The personnel at the counter are not helpful at all. I wasted half a day just to have my car tires installed! I could have gave them zero star if there’ s an option for that. I will not come back to this location in the future!

I went here to get my headlight bulbs changed, because one of them broke the evening before. I went in morning about an hour after they opened, but they were able to take on my job without a prior appointment. They estimated 30 – 35 minutes, and they texted me when they finished the job. (They were accurate with their estimates!)
The gentleman at the cash register was courteous and professional. Although the work was simple compared to other repair work, they did it without incident. The price was very reasonable for this type of work.
After hearing about all the horror stories of other Pep Boys shops, it’s very refreshing to see that there is still a shop that operates with integrity, professionalism, and diligence.

This place is awesome. Excellent customer service and always great quality work. Jason always takes care of me. He’s very nice and polite. All in all this place is top notch compared to all the other Pepboys nearby.
