I have been going to this place for a couple months. The owner Dave is awesome. Hes a great help, knows what hes doing. Hes fast with his work and quality is great. I got my tints, HID & LED lights, radio, and more done in his shop and it is all worth it. His prices are great and i highly recommend him for any job. Check out his shop

I shopped here once again for low beams. Not only is Dave a great guy but he is incredibly honest and his prices are very fair. Do not hesitate to go to this shop. You’ll become loyal customer too.

The owner Dave is the man to go to if you want nice clean work, only reason I deduct a star is most the time he is over priced for what other shops would charge for less and he does not really do any of the modifications/​work at the shop, he has guys… but like I said his people do clean work and Dave knows what he’s talking about when you go to him to get work done.

This place was excellent !! I came in at 1 & was out by 2, so the service was rather quick. I had an amp & sub woofer installed — my system sounds much better then before. Dave, was a nice guy & he knew his stuff. The price was affordable & the service was outstanding & met my expectations. This is the place to go !! Shout out to Dave for hooking it up !!

Highly recommend this business for radio installs, stereo needs, etc. I discovered this business via Unilocal!actually because of its high rating.
I stopped by to request a very odd service. My wedding band slipped underneath the CD player (wedged deep in). Dave, the owner, assured me his team could dislodge it. I made an appointment and returned.
The day of the appointment, a technician was able to execute the service (ahead of schedule) within 20 minutes — hooray!

Contrary to its name, this place is really unprofessional. I called for a quote to install back up camera. The guy told me that they charge around 400 bucks. I asked which brand of camera they would install and the guy was clueless. He basically said «consider it my own brand» (Like he manufactures his own cameras !). I asked if I can purchase my own camera and if he would install, he sounded a bit disappointed but gave me a quote of $ 140 anyways.
I stopped by after a few days of purchasing my own camera that had 5 star ratings on Amazon and the manager (he goes by the name Dave) started tutoring me on how these cameras are so unreliable and he would not take any guarantee and they are unlikely to work until and unless I purchase the camera from him (I had purchased one of the best known cameras online and that has 5 star review on amazon). I again asked him how does a camera get more reliable just because it is purchased from him for more than double the amount? After al it is not branded either. He had no clear answer and continued to beat around the bush.
When I persisted with having my own camera installed he now quoted me an additional $ 100, so basically $ 140 — $ 240 !! Just too pull out the bumper and drill 4 holes !
So much for dirty tricks to sell his own cheap stuff!
Needless to say I walked out of unProfessional Sound. Dave was not even nice enough to back out my car from his garage! .He is downright nasty and has no sense of customer appreciation. Avoid under all circumstances.

I called a million places for a quote on a car radio with Bluetooth. when I called Professional Sound, Dave was calm, honest and upfront about his prices. He made the decision very easy. I got there about an hour later after our conversation and it was well worth the 25 minute drive from my house in Bergen County. My car was immediately pulled into the stall and the job only took about 45 minutes. Dave handed me the TV remote and I enjoyed Criminal Minds during the wait. His shop and garage is clean and the employees are personable.
When the radio was replaced, Dave went over the basics and handed me the manual. For $ 245, I got what I asked for. The system still works and the job was very neat. I will reconsider his business when I replace the rims on my Expedition.
It’s a «YES» from me.

Had a mildly unpleasant experience here. The faceplate on my car stereo got lifted, so I went in search of a replacement.
The fella at Professional Sound first tells me they can’t sell faceplates; they only sell complete stereo systems. Bizarre, it seems, since faceplates are probably lost, broken, or stolen fairly regularly.
He then asks me what make/​model faceplate I need. I tell him I don’t know; the head unit has no make/​model or any other information on it; that’s why I’m at his shop, to find out.
He then tells me they charge a $ 25 fee just to pop the head unit out, which would take all of about three seconds. So before committing to that I ask «how much would a replacement faceplate cost, ballpark?»
«$ 80 to $ 100,» he tells me. Seems steep; I figured faceplates would run more around $ 50 or under. Hmm.
I say «no thanks» and get the hell outta there.
Later, via other means I am finally able to determine the make/​model of my car stereo. So I type it into google and voila! replacement faceplates for that exact make and model are available and cost a mere $ 14. Problem solved, no thanks to unProfessional Sound!

Quick, efficient service. I walked in to have a hard wired radar removed, a bit more than I anticipated but he had it done right away so I’m not that upset about it. David (I think that was his name) was a nice guy, and seems honest. I will return.

I had a great experience working with Professional Sound & Security. I wanted to put an iPod connection in my Subaru for my husband’s birthday and just wanted it to be easy. I called Dave and he took my car info and immediately gave me a quote complete with installation for my specific make and model and was able to take an appointment within the week. I ended up going with a simple stereo replacement for a great price mostly because my car is not cool enough to warrant the amazing systems he has in stock. I.e. Booming stereos or one’s that play movies in your dashboard, etc. He explained the systems he thought I would like and didn’t try to upsell me at all I dropped the car off and it was ready within the hour. Great experience, so professional and nice and he even showed me how to use the thing after they put it in!

I am highly satisfied with my new rims. I couldn’t pick out good rims for my car and Dave recommended what he thought would look sweet on my ride, and I’ve got a lot of people complimenting me not just on the rims but on the entire car. Even PepBoys has made me a VIP because they’re so in love with my car, it has become their priority to service first before the others before me: D

When I am in need of any car services, I immediately get intimidated. I know nothing about cars and so I’m always at the mercy of the service provider. That said, upon calling Dave at Professional Sound & Security to ask about window tinting, I immediately felt at ease. Dave was a real pleasure to work with as he’s beyond friendly and accommodating. He worked around my schedule and was super proactive in keeping me updated on when I could pick-​up my car. Plus they’re the best price in the area. I’ll definitely be returning when it’s time to upgrade the lousy factory stereo that came with our car!

Professional, clean, quiet, quick, friendly, patient, and affordable! Those are all adjectives that would lead me to return and recommend Dave and his guys to you!
I’m a lady and I came in with my charger, got my front headlight and brake light fixed. They easily identified the problems and didn’t overcharge me. I appreciate that!

I got a new stereo put into my old car so I went back to get my stereo updated in my new car. Waited 15 minuets or so before anyone offered to help. And when I did finally get help I felt like a bother to the person working. I left with out buying a new stereo.

As busy as David is he spends enough time with all his customers to explain their options and to also engaging in small talk. His staff is very good and they work fast but the work is exceptional. I’ve already been here twice for rims and tires and today for a sound system. I will be back in the near future for other upgrades for my vehicle. I recommend Professional Sound & Security. 2 thumbs up.

I took my 4Runner to get HID beams, install an extinguisher and install some interior lights.
Service was quick and awesome. The price was affordable and Dave was very knowledgable and helpful.
I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to customize their wheels! I’ll be back!

I would give this place 10 stars if I could! There is something to be said about owners that do business like the owner still does. He takes such a sense of pride in each vehicle that he does.
I brought my brand-​new car into get window tints done and I couldn’t be happier! He was so helpful in helping me figure out what I wanted and what I needed for my car.
The shop was clean and everyone was so friendly and nice. The owner also had their pricing and I would recommend anyone to the shop for any vehicle upgrade.
I intend to go back soon to get an automatic start for my car.

Nice little neighborhood shop in Jersey City.
They can bling out your car with window tints, rims, speakers & remote car starters if your into that kind of thing.

The reason why I’ve been a customer here is my wife’s car alarm has been going off. I mean at all times of the day. I Brought her car in the other day and explained everything to Dave, who maybe the owner.
We had to leave the car over the weekend & he called today to pick up the vehicle. Turns out it was a sensor on the drivers side door that had to be replaced. The price was very reasonable & pointed out how we could avoid this issue in the future. As it seems to be a somewhat common problem in older cars.
Because the sensor was rusted out and dirty, it was reading that the door was open, when it actually wasn’t.Problem solved.
My wife & I thank you.
For that matter, the whole neighborhood thanks you. At least it won’t be our car alarm going off at 5:00 AM.

This establishment has been here for a long time (likely over a decade and some) and it’s for good reason. They do quality custom work to all makes and models. The list of services I’ve used Professional for include:
(1) Tints
(2) Custom HID Kit installment
The tints were a bit pricier than local competitors (about $ 180 for a coupe). However, I will say I’ve had subpar work done for much less and these guys do high quality work that lasts. You get what you pay for!
Now, the HID kit was «second-​hand» from a friend, but I had every reason to believe that it worked just fine. I brought it to Professional and they installed for relatively cheap (can’t specifically recall the price but it was north of a $ 100 but below $ 200). A few weeks later one of the lights were going in and out, I brought it back to them and one of their guys fixed it without any hassle or extra charge. I love a well-​run small business!
