Refresh24 Dry Cleaners

I have gone here several times because I live nearby, but I don’t intend to go back. I asked for a zipper to be replaced on pants. The receipt clearly showed the replacement with a price for the service. A week later I picked up the pants and brought them home. I tested the repair and the zipper immediately broke again. It appeared as though they hadn’t replaced the zipper but had just aligned it back on track. I dropped the pants off several days later and pointed out the issue. They agreed to take the pants back and replace the zipper without added charges. I picked the pants up for a second time and they then said they would charge me again. I argued to point out that I shouldn’t have to pay yet again and they agreed.
I know businesses can make mistakes, but this business appears to be run in a way that requires confrontation for customers to recieve the expected service at the agreed upon price. That is not worth my time or effort.

Bad bad bad service… Ruined my shirt and my suit! Don’t care if you complain. No refund no sorry…

I gave it a star, but they really need to check the help at the front desk. Working in the service industry should you not greet each customer with a «Good morning, Hello» or maybe with a smile. Putting my clothes on the counter was a huge problem that was met with attitude from the young girl behind the counter as well. I normally use Liberty Dry Cleaners on 262 Warren Street, Jersey City, NJ 7 302. That is who I will continue to use. I lived downtown but have moved to Lafayette area. So when I catch the light rail I thought I could drop my things here and just jump back on to exchange place. Well as I walked in this place I was met with attitude. During the time I was there I notice 3 people who walked in that weren’t even greeted with any kind of smile or «IHi I will be with you shortly». If you are in the service industry you are constantly selling your service.
The young lady working there needs to be taught how to use manners and greet folks. She was cute to look at, but that only goes so far when your dealing with professionals each day. Upoon leaving a handing of the receipt was done with out «Have a nice day, sir».
Just plain attitude like I made her day bad from just walking in the door.
Horrible!

The only pro is that it is cheap, the problem is that the quality is also cheap!
They ruined so many of my shirts and after the second $ 400 shirt they lost I finally decided to change dry cleaner.
They also don’t even refund any of the mistakes they make.

My fiancé and I dry clean EVERYTHING and we are extremely particular as to how we like our clothing cleaned and the care that is taken with them. That is why our experience with Refresh has been love at first clean! They are nice and efficient and provide personalized service. We love the bar code system they use that keeps notes as to we like our clothes cleaned and it makes me feel more secure that our items will not get lost. Refresh also takes the time to send personal emails, not computer generated ones that let you know when your items are ready, when they will be delivered, and what your total will be. We are so happy that we discovered Refresh!

STAY FAR AWAY! Refresh 24 deserves ⁰⁄₅ stars but apparently that’s not an option. I’ve been bringing my business to Refresh 24 for nearly a year now and the quality of their service as progressively gone down hill. In the past 30 days, I’ve had two custom tailored suit jackets torn at the sleeve, and the piping nearly torn off a pair of trousers. Moreover, they’ve «misplaced» my garments on multiple occasions — so much for that «advanced» bar code system. Luckily they’ve been able to track down my missing orders but leaving empty handed and having to return just hours later is inconvenient nonetheless. And on the topic of convenience, their «24 hour service» is shoddy at best. Nearly ½ the time I attempt to pick up after normal business hours, the automated pickup service is out of order. I highly recommend seeking alternative options. I will not be returning after picking up this weeks order.

awful awful awful service. the only reason I started using these guys was for convenience purposes as they are downstairs to my building. I have given them 5 chances and had issues 3 of those 5 times. my own fault I guess. They destroyed a dress of mine — didnt have a bridesmaid dress ready on time when I went to pick up — and most recently destroyed a $ 400 blouse, telling me it was a manufacturer’s issue, not theirs. I have told as many people as possible NOT to go here anymore… and you should do the same. There are PLENTY of other options in the area.

Refresh 24 Dry Cleaners is a new local dry cleaner in the downtown JC area right inside the Gull’s Cove condo complex. The storefront itself is right by the parking garage entrance between Grand St. and the Marin Blvd light rail station. It’s conveniently located by several of the high rises near Paulus Hook and Grove St. They offer same day pickup on most off peak days earlier in the week.
The staff is friendly and they always seem very busy with customers. They offer an advanced bar code system which uses no tags or staples. I have used Refresh 24 a few times for general dry cleaning and have been satisfied with the service. If I need any alterations and repairs, I would definitely consider using Refresh 24.
They advertise and automated drop-​off & pick-​up service that’s available ²⁴⁄₇ but I just dropped off my garments in person and have not inquired on this particular service.
