I was feeling rather nostalgic today so I decided to come here to order my favorite elementary school lunch– ham and mozzarella on a plain bagel. Yummy right?! The line moved quickly and I paid before receiving my breakfast sandwich so that was nice. I was charged over $ 7 which I feel is a little exorbitant for a jersey deli. I guess what she did was charge each item separately which essentially added up to over $ 7. That’s a price you would pay in Manhattan not in jersey! I wouldn’t mind paying that price though if the sandwich was to die for but when I ate it I was kind of disappointed. They were stingy on the mozzarella cheese and the ham was just eehhhhh. I do like that they have an expansive selection of cream cheese for the vast variety of bagels. They also have seats for customers as well which I like. Overall, I probably wouldn’t come back here. I’d rather go to dunkin donuts for a breakfast sandwich or a bagel which tastes better with a better price.

I like this location.
Getting the obvious out of the way, they have good bagels with a good ingredient list that allows you to really customize your breakfast orders. I like to try a lot of the different cream cheese and most deserve merit save for the fruit ones that are far too sweet, even sweeter than if you were to have fresh jam or marmalade mixed with it.
They do tend to run out of bagels quickly in the morning though which can be rather frustrating for a place called Wonder Bagels. Bagels can also be substituted for the miniature versions.
They are more than just breakfast too. I do enjoy a lot of their chicken sandwiches, bagels, panini, basically anything to get a good amount of protein in. Chicken cajun is my go-​to for a quick protein and carb fix even though it can be very inconsistent.
Only compliments for the staff. Friendly. Attentive. Fast. Efficient, even in the morning peak hours.

This place is my holy grail. The best bagels, simple as that. If you come bright and early, you can get their bagels freshly made and steaming hot. And their apple turnovers? Omg, to die for. Service is great, staff is awesome.

Service has gotten a lot better since my last review. They really take the time to listen to their customers. Food is great and the best part, one price! Haven’t felt like I’m getting gauged when I step in here.

the food at this spot is good, but the people running it are lazy pricks. they always close HOURS before the posted closing, if you want a bagel anytime after 12 you’re probably SOL, i spent all last week trying to go there after work (2:30pm) and every time they were closed or closing. the posted closing is 5pm

Was definitely good during our initial visits. Last 2 experiences were very disappointing. We ordered Mediterranean chicken sandwich. The guy suggested it would be good on a wrap than on a hero. When we got the wrap, it had just mixed greens and feta cheese (no chicken). We returned to the shop with it and the lady at the counter kept saying that we ordered Mediterranean wrap and not chicken. The amount taken was of Mediterranean chicken sandwich so she returned the money. Next experience was very less cream cheese on the bagels. There was hardly any cream cheese on one half of the bagel that we had to throw it off. Another problem was that the lady at the counter over priced us twice and we had to correct her by showing her the price on their menu board.

I placed an order for catering and the guy who helped me on the phone was super helpful and accommodating! He was able to put all the different bagels my colleagues wanted and had a tray of various cream cheeses. They make their bagels fresh everyday and brewed a fresh batch of coffee!

Staff constantly messes up orders, today asked for a sandwich without cheese after waiting 15 minutes I realized they gave my sandwich to someone else, then remade it with cheese after I repeated my order twice. Not the first time this has happened. Also seems like the prices are always changing!

The Danforth Ave. location has gotten pretty popular… expect to wait awhile. Especially because they ring people up in order of where they are in line, not in order of when stuff’s ready. Recently I basically waited 20 minutes to pay for and get an order that had been sitting on the counter getting cold next to the register. Still good stuff, but they could do a little better about getting fresh (hot) food into the customer’s hands.

In Jersey City, this is where you go to get a bagel. It’s that simple. Breakfast sandwich on a bagel, bagel with cream cheese, or even just a plain bagel, this is where it’s at. As a matter of fact, I’d even say this is my second favorite bagel place in the tri-​state area, they’re fast, clean, and delicious. I hear the other stuff they bake is great too, but I haven’t tried any of it myself.
I also love the fresh squeezed juice blends they offer. Now a lot of places have the good old clear plastic cups of fresh juice (as they do too), but this place will actually squeeze the juice for you as you order it! C’mon, you can’t get any fresher than that.

Food selection is great for a breakfast and lunch place, and the staff is always smiling and very accommodating. A bit on the pricey side but the food is fresh so a welcome trade off.
My only word of advice — DON’T LOOK UP! The ceiling and vents are just dripping this fuzzy, nasty junk from the ductwork. Every episode of those reality shows had this exact issue in the Before part of the show. I’d hate to think how much of this ends up on the food they have displayed. Yikes!

Awesome bagels, not like the ones I am used to back home in Atlanta. These angles had that real NYC flavor. Baked fresh and with home made cream cheese in multiple flavors. These bagels are Way chunkier and chewy in a great way. Fresh orange juice and coffee was also good.
My one complaint would be that is is very small and the tables was not cleaned both times I was there.

This rating is really a 4.5, only because the tofu cream cheese is only available plain and no other flavors are offered at this location. Otherwise, this Wonder Bagels spot has the baked goods that are synonymous with the brand.
Pretty good service, fast food prep, and very convenient location right off 440 by Society Hill

Great bagels, cream cheese & all the other breakfast fixings at this location. It is one of 3 or 4 locations, apparently owned by the same people & service is good, quick & pleasant. The bagels are fresh, with a wide variety (anyone who makes egg everything bagels gets a thumbs up in my book!), and they have about 8 different types of cream cheese from scalion to cinnamon raisin to lox. They also have fresh baked pastries, scones, muffins, & make custom breakfast sandwiches (eggs, ham, etc). They have lots of different drinks including iced coffee in several different flavors.
Come early, stay & eat or take out — either way you will be happy. However, if like me you love a good chocolate croissant, either come early or call ahead to reserve one as once they are gone, they are gone!

You cant do better, great food, friendly fast service, and very reasonable prices. I go here at least once a week, and have ordered bagel and sanddwich plates for parties.
Be sure to try the panini sandwiches too!

This place has the best bagels in JC. And when I say this place I mean this Wonder Bagels in particular. The downtown location is good but if they have the French toast bagel, I haven’t seen it. If you are going to this location and you have a sweet tooth, it’s a must!
As for the other locations, sip always messes up your order or barely toasts your bagel — I hate that. If I say toasted, I want it actually toasted not slightly warmed and covered in non melted butter. Bayonne (yes not part of JC) served me damn near raw bagels the last time I went, big disappointment.

This is my favorite Bagel spot around! You name it, they have it. I’m a simple gal, egg & cheese on a plain bagel or a plain bagel toasted with scallion cream cheese. I stick to what I know, but everything on the menu looks amazing. I bring most people I know there and everyone gets something different and I’ve never heard a complaint. I’m told their lunch is excellent as well (sandwiches and paninis), but the bagels are just too delicious for me to pass up when I’m there.

Place is on 440. Quite busy so they get a lot of customers. I’ve been here a few times out of convenience to where I was working. First time I ordered taylor ham and cheese on a sesame bagel, with salt pepper ketchup. Sorry for everybody in jersey and for me knowing legit taylor ham, this was not it. I’m not even sure what is was. Thinly sliced with a weird taste to it. Hated it. Took off the ham?. Ate just the bagel. I will never order that one again. I have been back for plain things, bAgels and cream cheese etc. Nothing special

I had the garlic bagel with sun dried tomato cream cheese and let me tell you that they are not skimpy on the cream cheese. I scraped enough of cream cheese off my bagel to put it onto three or four more bagels of equal or greater size. I ma not complaining, I would much rather have too much than too little, plus this lets me get just one bagel with cream cheese and spread it around to other bagels I bought without it. They also have pastries that are very tasty. They make a mean bacon, egg and cheese bagel sandwich as well.
All in all I recommend this place to anybody looking for bake goods that are good to eat.
