The best donut shop in town ! It is so fluffy and soft and so yummy ! I am so glad I found this place by accident. I always up for trying something new, so I found myself going stray. But I always come back to this donut shop because they are the best in Houston !!

My family was craving for some donuts and kolaches, so I decided to try this place since it was pretty close by. This family owned business does not disappoint. They have a pretty wide selection of yummy treats to choose from(differently types of kolaches, breakfast tacos, donuts — glazed, chocolate, jelly filled etc.) And it’s all made fresh! They were very warm when I bought them and they tasted pretty good. I recommend the kolaches! The breading is perfection and the sausage is much better than the ones you get from Shipley’s.

I dropped in to grab some breakfast for a customer(and myself). I can’t say how the donuts were, but my apple fritter were too hard for my tastes. It didn’t have much apple/cinnamony taste either. Great people running the joint, though.

When I took a bite out of that sausage abs cheese kolache, I literally thought about moving to this side of town just so I can be near… sad day

My new favorite donut shop discovery! I drive by 4 other donut shops from my house just to get donuts/kolaches from here! Hands down the best donuts & kolaches ever! The 1st time we got donuts, sausage/cheese kolache, sausage/cheese/jalapeño kolache & egg burrito. We couldn’t believe how perfectly yummy the kolaches & donuts were! The egg burrito was nothing special though. Today I went back for more donuts & kolaches, but I tried the boudin kolache instead of the jalapeño/sausage/cheese. This place doesn’t disappoint when it comes to kolaches & donuts! Simply the BEST!

Having been raised as a child of great cooks in my mother, especially in my father, the one ingredient that gave their food the praiseworthy monniker is love; one of the first things i had noticed from my first visit some five years ago. Their concise menu of sweetly made donuts are always sure to meet that sugary sweet standard of taste. Large and small kolaches are accurate in size; small if you’re just in for a taste, large if you’re in for a grub. My favorite are the fresh croissants and biscuits, sausage egg and cheese, three words that are synonymous with«i love you» when my wife brings them to me(but i don’t always share)! Small fridge for the beverages to hydrate, gum and mints for morning breath, and good people who open, close and run this shop with the smiles that make them both wonderful people to see every visit.

Wow — excellent kolaches! Somebody brought a box to the office and I was hooked after I tried the first sausage/cheese/jalapeño kolache. I don’t live anywhere close to Jersey Village, but may make the drive just for these.

Since it’s really close to my house, V&K is extremely convenient. They even have a drive thru, which is great when you are running late. But the real reason I keep coming back is because the service is awesome. They carry the standard donut shop goodies that you would find here in Houston — donuts, kolaches, croissant sandwiches, etc. I recommend the kolaches, which come in small and large. Their version of the kolache has equal bread to the size of the meat. I know this may seem pretty minor, but some other places have a tiny little sausage encased in a fluffy bread casing. For me, I like an equal meat and bread ratio. I usually pick up donuts and kolaches for clients and with each of my orders, the owners always slip me an extra bag of goodies. One time it was a croissant sandwich, another time a couple of glazed donuts. It’s almost like Christmas when I visit. On one occasion, I forgot to order a bottle of water. So after I paid, I asked if I could buy some water. They handed it to me with a smile and waved me off. Little things like this keep me faithful to my favorite donut shop.
