Celebrated our first wedding anniversary at the Times House this past weekend. It was our first time to Jim Thorpe, which is such a quaint little town. This bed and breakfast is beyond wonderful! The«breakfast» portion of bed and breakfast is a little different here: you get a continental breakfast made up of Diane’s home-baked goods in your own kitchenette. Very romantic! Diane’s baking skills are off the charts. We had a wonderful time and will definitely stay at the Times House the next time we come to Jim Thorpe!

We were strolling around Jim Thorpe in search of a B&B to stay at next time we come(even tho we thoroughly enjoyed the DeFeo Manor where we were staying… we like to sample different places). Anyway, the owner was cleaning their windows, and we explained that we would like to come back here some time, as we loved this little town. We asked if we could check out her B&B. She dropped what she was doing and showed us the rooms. They were absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Huge too. The large bed was way back in a corner, then there was tons of rug space until you hit the couch and chair in the sitting room. They had a cute little kitchenette. This owner took her time with us and showed us the other room as well. Her kindness, and the beautiful rooms, make us want to stay here next time we come. By the way, this B&B is right next to a magnificent church, Saint Mark’s. Google-image it; it’s really cool. Also, this B&B is off the«main drag» so is a little quieter, which is nice. It sits along a stone wall and reminds you of old Europe. Kinda neat!
