Totally Twisted Homemade Soft Pretzel Bakery

Jim Thorpe is an absolutely adorable town. I was here during the winter so the town was pretty empty. I was wandering around town & stopped by this odd mansion full of small shops. This mansion had a different store in each room. I happened upon Totally Twisted. At first I walked in & it was awkward because there were 2 people waiting & no pretzels being displayed. Donde estan food!!! I swiftly walked out but then had second thoughts. I ordered the original butter & salt pretzel. They said it would be a 5 minute wait because they were going to make it fresh. On slow days they don’t make the pretzels until someone orders — hence the empty display cases. No biggie — I’m cool with freshly baked, warm pretzels.
For $ 2.39, I got an awesomely fresh & toasty pretzel. When I took my first piece, the hot steam poured out of the pretzel — so warm! They did have other flavors like cinnamon, pretzel dogs, lemonade, etc. I would definitely come back here for a quick snack. I could just imagine that their pretzels would hit the spot after a day of rafting or exploring the town on a summer day.
