Established in 1993.

Leonard Bucci, owner of Sweetgrass Properties offers a full-​service property management firm specializing in the managing and marketing of Charleston area property rentals. Sweetgrass is locally owned and operated by Lenny Bucci, who also owns and operates Sweetgrass Property Services (Formerly Kiawah Services), the premier Property Management company in the Lowcountry. This means Sweetgrass Properties have access to Kiawah Service’s extensive in-​house resources making sure any maintenance issues are handled fast and by experts. Both the Kiawah Services and Sweetgrass staff are dedicated to creating rewarding and lasting partnerships with our owners and guests.

With a diversity of skills in all aspects of residential and commercial construction, real estate rentals and sales, property management, management, creative finance, construction and ownership of multiple businesses, I have spent the last 21 years utilizing these creative aptitudes as an entry point into ownership of multiple successful businesses. Throughout the years I have gained the essential knowledge and experience necessary to contribute to all my employees and clients. As an entrepreneur, I cultivated my abilities to diversify in many areas of business. I started out 24 years ago by purchasing my first investment property, renovating and reselling. This one property was the beginning for many more to follow. Within 10 years the end product was having purchased a total of 48 residential and commercial properties, leasing in short and long term rentals. This was the foundation of my construction and real estate career.
