My engagement ring got bent while moving and I was new to the Binghamton area. I stopped in to Comfort and Son on Vestal Parkway and they were extremely nice and professional. The store is beautiful and they repair jewelry on the premises. They fixed my ring for me in a few minutes and would not accept payment. «See?» I told my husband… «New Yorkers ARE nice!» (Or at least these folks were.) We will be returning here for all of our future watch and jewelry needs, and will wholeheartedly recommend it to friends.

Not just 5 stars, 5 ENORMOUS STARS!!!
While in town for my grandmother’s memorial service, my sister and I decided to have several rings cleaned. Our parents suggested Comfort & Son. Apparently, this was my grandmother’s favorite local jeweler. Well, she had great taste.
Everyone was so friendly and helpful. They entertained all of our questions, inspected our jewelry, and wouldn’t even accept a dime for their time. They were so knowledgeable and professional. Coming from a big city where I often feel as if I’m given a hard sell to buy jewelry I don’t want or need, it was truly refreshing to have such a wonderful experience with inspired jewelers who were passionate about their field and not just the almighty dollar.
