Derderian Academy has age specific programs for children ages 4 & up. In addition to teaching Karate, our children’s program emphasizes courtesy, discipline and respect. Classes are fun, controlled, and exciting.

History

Established in 1993.

Derderian Academy is a 4200 sq ft school located in Johnston, RI.

We have programs for men, women, and children (ages 4 & up)

We also offer Pyramid Fitness for Women.

Raffi D.

Business Owner

Shihan Raffi Derderian began the study of martial arts in 1973. Since then he has traveled to many parts of the US to learn and study with the greatest Masters of martial arts.

Shihan holds Black Belt ranks in Karate, Kenpo, Filipino Martial Arts and Kempo.

He has also had many published articles on various martial arts topics.

In addition, he is known for his great efforts to raise money for a variety of charities.
