Yoga and healing arts for EveryBody. Group and individual classes in yoga, as well as individual healing (energy work). Yoga classes are offered suitable for every level of practice, from Gentle Shanti Yoga for beginners, a Basic Yoga Series (offered every few months), an intermediate Basic Flow Shanti Yoga and for advanced practitioners, a more vigorous Vinyaasa flow.

History

Established in 2012.

The Heart Spot seeks to build a community of like-​minded individuals who wish to come together for spiritual and physical advancement. As the first yoga studio in Johnston, we differentiate ourselves by offering group classes for yoga instruction, as well as workshops on sound healing and breath work. Bobby Ducharme opened the studio to bring people together to ultimately feel better about themselves, moment by moment, breath by breath.

Business Owner

Bobby has been practicing yoga for over 20 years. His teachers include Tom Gillette, Mary Pafford, Richard Freeman, Shannah Green, Judith Lasater, Josh Summers and Theresa Murphy. Bobby received his RYT-​200 hour certification from Eyes of the World in September 2010, and recently received his 500 hour certification with Don and Amba Stapleton at Nosara Yoga Institute. He has taught at Breathing Time Yoga in Pawtucket, Miriam Hospital, SF Gamm Theatre, Eyes of the World and The Heart Spot.
