Jack’s Car Wash & Iube Center

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS CAR WASH! My car was damaged by the machine at this car carwash in August 2015. I was told by the person running the machine that this happens all the time and that they would replace it. It is now the 9^th of December and I still do not have the replacement part for my mirror. I was told by the manager that they accidentally put my claim in the completed file (which tells you that this has happened to more than one person) I just got off the phone with the manager Andrew who told me that they’re doing this as a courtesy. If you value your car you would not take it to this car wash as I’ve been given the runaround for the last 4 ½ months. Neither manager has been helpful and the owner is obviously nonexistent since he hasn’t reached out to me in this matter. Again I repeat if you value your car do not take it to this car wash it is not worth the headaches that are involved in their destructive machine, and Andrew is a pathetic excuse for a human being.

Terrible car wash!!! Scratched the hell out of my car & they claim there’s nothing in the car wash that could do that. Bull crap! Don’t waste your money!

I used to go to the dealer for my oil changes, but the service at Jack’s is outstanding and honest. Several times I have come in for an oil change due to mileage and the staff showed and told me it wasn’t necessary. The honesty and prices are unbeatable!

I went here for the first time for an oil change, and my rear tire was very low with my air pressure light on, so I wanted that looked at too. When I arrived, I told them I just needed an oil change and SPECIFICALLY asked if they can please look at my tire. During this time they informed me /​showed me two of my filters were so dirty so I had them replace those as well. After they were all done, I noticed my air pressure light was still on so I asked them if that was normal and if they checked my tires. he said «yeah, just drive for a little bit and it will turn off»
3 days later… I was driving down Rt 59 and my tire POPPED. I had to immediately pull over and call for help since sadly I do not know how to change a tire. The next day I went to NTB, $ 150.00 for a new tire, I was pretty pissed. The man at NTB showed me the lovely nail in my tire. I called JACKS to speak to the owner and manager, which I do not believe I actually spoke to. I explained the whole situation and was told that they only check the tire pressure. I said to the man, «well if someone specifically asks you to please check their tire as its been low, don’t you check the tires a little more thoroughly?» His exact response was «ummmmmm welllllllll I mean, sometimes we do and sometimes we don’t.» I said okay, sounds good.
I would not recommend going here unless you want a half ass job done.

The best car wash in town and a lot of other towns in Chicago land area with the nicest group of workers I have seen at an establishment in a while gets the limousine clean every time thanks guys

I come here very often for oil changes and car washes. The oil changes and washes are GREAT they are fast courteous and friendly. However, this last time here the oil change bay was open but it took 20 mins to get to the door due to 2 employees Mis guiding the car wash line. I watched as 15 – 20 vehicles past me by as I waited. Today warmed up as well so my windows were open, until the smoke from the 2 employees «attempting» to direct tragic came billowing in to my face. The employees need a lesson in professionalism. Overall Good place if the employees would learn to respect customers.

Great local car wash spot. Machines are up to date and they have free vacuums. They also do oil changes with complimentary washes.
Currently running a Christmas promotion… buy $ 25 gift card and get a free $ 12 compete wash… GREAT DEAL!

I have been coming to Jacks since it first opened and have taken all of my vehicles there exclusively for car wash and oil changes. The staff is always nice, professional, knowledgable, and sincere. And they actually remember you when you become a regular! My wife and I have taken our vehicles there several times to be told that our oil didn’t neccessarily need to be changed and that we could probably get another thousand or so miles out of it. I have also heard the staff tell other customers the same thing multiple times while I was there waiting for my oil change. If that isn’t professionalism at it’s finest, I don’t know what is.
I have had several conversations with Jack and he is a great guy. If you ever have the pleasure of a conversation with him, ask him about the incident with his wife’s car that made him think about opening his own oil change business in the first place. He is the reason that his employees are the way they are, and that is a true compliment.
I very highly recommend Jacks car wash and lube. Free vacuums, clean establishment, awesome car wash (for $ 3 you can’t go wrong, but kick it up a notch and get some extras!), and a staff that treats you like they appreciate and want your business. Keep up the excellent customer service, Jack’s!

$ 3 car wash that makes my car shine. Awesome. The free vacs for us to use are the best in town. They are very powerful. I have not used them for an oil change because my car only goes to Sooper Lube. The only staff I see is the guy when I go in and have my car washed. All of them have been pleasant and friendly. A must to use.

Been coming here for years! I’m so excited they remodeled their wash and got new vacuums. They are so strong, however, that it sucked the button right off of the console in my Land Rover! I panicked of course, and the guys retrieved it for me. But it definitely broke the button, it will have to be replaced =\. They also do free tire air checks, I’m not sure if people know that or not because I didn’t know for the longest time! Used to get my oil changes here, too. Ever since getting the Rover though I just assumed it would be pricey and have one of my friend’s do it. Missed them while the wash was down, and come all the way from Manhattan, IL to give my car some TLC at Jack’s. Thanks guys!
