This nail salon is great! Sherri(the owner) is super friendly and personable and greets you by name. She is always there and you can tell definitely she really cares about her business unlike most business owners. They do a great job, and I am never disappointed!

I have been going there for the for a while. Not all pedicures are equal there so I had one particular employee that I Requested. I called shortly after they opened and booked an appointment with particular employee for 4 ½ hours later and one for daughter as well. Upon arrival the manager said that the employee my appt was with was running behind. It appeared that this employee had started a new procedure on a different customer. 28 minutes later after everyone ignored me I got up to go. Then the manager says sorry but it is my fault for not letting anyone else help me. I said so you do not accept appt… she said yes… hmmm. Told the same thing by the employee that totally ignored me and the fact that I had booked an appointment. Bottom line… Horrible customer service… employee’s pick and choose who they wait on, apparently, based on tip. In addition no base coat was used in the other pedicure and had smudges. There are nail salons on almost every cornor… pick a different one.

Got a full set, white tips. I’ve been several times before and never had any problems. When I walked in there was on person doing nails and one doing feet. There was one person already sitting and waiting for service, not sure how long she had been waiting. After maybe 10 minutes of waiting a woman and her young daughter walk in. She tells them she wants hands and feet done for her daughter and she wants her bails removed. 3 techs come from the back and they immediately take them both, while I’m still waiting. When I am finally called they were really rough and she kept messing up and needing to go back over what she had already done. My nails do not look good at all. The polish is very bubbling and the nails seem a bit uneven. They don’t feel comfortable at all. Today was not a great as my previous experiences.

This salon use to be one of my top picks but not so much anymore. There are only a few of the girls there from about year ago and the rest are sloppy and rush through the service. This is the third no chip manicure in a row that I have gotten and it has peeled at the top and chipped. The new staff is bringing this place down. I notice the manager is gone a lot more now too and it shows. It’s starting to get ghetto in there like rest of the nail salons on Jefferson st. I won’t be back.

I will not be going their anymore. Went in for their«$ 20» pedicure which mind you is only a $ 5 discount which ideally you give them back anyways in tip. The woman rushed through my pedi, did not scrub the bottom of my feet, no hot towel service, and horrible paint job. I could’ve done a better job myself. The polish was smudged on both feet when I returned home despite her telling me it was dry. My no chip manicure was no manicure at all, cuticles look bad around the nail and she did not go through with the brush to clean up errors. I am fuming, it ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing start to my vacation.

Went there for my first time on Friday 6⁄5. Hade the best Pedicure I have had in a long time. She took her time(my feet needed some time) and still had me all finished during my lunch hour from work. I will be going back to see Anna again very soon.

This place has always been solid in my book. Went in Friday night with my sister and mother. No chips all around and my sister want a pedicure also. Everything was great up until it was time to pay. We all gave $ 5 tips and the lady that did my sister’s nails and pedicure actually questioned her tip!!! She was clearly bothered by it and walked away muttering their language. Everything else was great up until that point. I’m not sure if I will be back.

My daughter loves her nails and she really enjoyed her princess pedicure. She loved the chair massage too. This place gets busy however they have multiple technicians, at least 8 so they are able to take the time to do a good job. Good prices too with specials on Mon/Tues as well.

The staff is very friendly. The owner always remembers my name. Get the pedi and use the chair the works the kinks out of your back.

Went for $ 20 Pedicure on Tuesday, and I wasn’t impressed. The place looked like a sweat shop and smelled heavily of nail polish. Also, I felt like the girl rushed through the service, which clearly showed in the errors I did not wish to bring up when I was there(I try not to be that custumer that’s a bitch). When I got home my cuticles around my toes were bleeding, it was terrible. I’ll pay more for a pedicure next time… somewhere else.

My Eyebrows: I will say this, BERT from BERTANDERNIE! They were looking crazy! I walked into this place and Susan HOOKEDMEUP! Typically, when I get my eyebrows done, I say, «I just want them shaped up», but then, I leave out the spot looking like I cut all my eyebrows off, and drew them on with a pencil… a jagged pencil at that. Definitely did an AMAZING job to my brows. I will most certainly be back!

I’m definitely a fan of this place. This is my 2nd time having service(spa manicure, pedicure, and eyebrow wax) at VIP Nails. I come here when I’m in the area. VIP nails is very clean, friendly, and professional. They actually take their time. I would suggest you going if you have time to relax because they normally spend about 30 – 45 minutes on your pedicure. With the spa pedicure you will receive a foot scrub, massage, warm towel, etc. They have a variety of nail colors and nail art if you are into that type of stuff. I’ve never had to wait a very long time either. I really like them because they completely polish my entire fingernail when getting a manicure. Some of the other places I’ve visited miss the corners and I’m sure it’s not on purpose but I don’t know how you would miss it if you’re looking at it while painting my nails. Again, I really like this place and it is a must try. They can be a bit pricey but worth it. Price list for spa manicure and Pedicure is $ 50; eyebrow waxing is $ 10 The special they have going right now is $ 30 for spa pedicure and classic manicure P.S. Right now they have a special going on — $ 5 off manicure and pedicure; Teachers and students will receive 10% off with student ID; Senior citizens is 10% off everyday. If you’re thinking about going tomorrow 3 Sept 2012, unfortunately they will be closed… Enjoy
