King & Queen of Clean Cleaning Service

Horrible service today.
There are stains everywhere still. They swept the kitchen under the cabinets, I can see it in piles in the corners. They didn’t lift the seat when they cleaned the toilet.
When I booked the appointment, I was booking for a cleaning and organizing… they did ZERO organizing. They couldn’t even make the bed properly. They also never mentioned a two hour limit but after 95 minutes of work the maids told me they were out of time.
When I called the owner, he started cursing at me telling me they did as good as they could do. STAY AWAY — wish I had checked Unilocal first.

I also bought a DealChicken voucher for this cleaning service. I mean, $ 200 for a year of housecleaning? sounds too good to be true… IT IS!!!
When communicating with the business, they write me emails in text abbreviations and incomplete sentences. There customer service is terrible and I am uncomfortable with the idea of having them in my home.
When I emailed them confirming my cleaning tomorrow, they wrote back saying they won’t be there and will be there Friday instead. So when I give them a time on Friday that I’m available, I receive an email simply stating ‘can’t do it’ with nothing else, no offer of rescheduling or anything. Clearly this business does not take pride in their customer service which can only lead me to believe that their housecleaning is subpar.
below is a copy of an email I just wrote them:
Dear sir or ma’am (how would I know? you never sign your emails) —
I am in talks with DealChicken right now to receive a refund. I have been thoroughly unimpressed with your customer service. You type emails from your cell phone, with no punctuation and in incomplete sentences. It is incredibly unprofessional. I wonder if you would have even told me that you were not coming today if I hadn’t emailed you to confirm. When I gave you my availability on Friday (which you didn’t even ask me if I had time) all you responded with was ‘cant do that time’ with no offer to reschedule! What kind of customer service is that? No wonder you need to do a deal to get business. Until you start running your business with some pride, you will never have customers!

I wrote this to the company first to be fair and allow them the chance to apologize or try to make up for my bad experience but its been over a week with no response so i am posting: My bad for buying a half off depot voucher and their bad for not trying to impress a first time customer. I would have used them again and recommended them if they had been good!
I had my apartment «cleaned» On Thursday and have to tell you i was disappointed. I clean my own place and having it «professionally» done for the first time was supposed to be a treat. I had a long work week and was having a guest stay with me this weekend so decided to splurge. I was told i would contacted the day before to confirm and didn’t receive a call. I was going to ask if i needed to provide anything and ask a few questions. I even left a message asking if i had the wrong day and for someone to call me. Then, surprise! the crew called at 1030 from my apt when i was told 8 – 10 a.
When i got home, I could barely tell anyone was there except for the filmy residue on my stove, the stain (soap? cleaning fluid?) on the rug in the kitchen, the dirty black glove someone left behind and the lingering odor of a cleanser reminiscent of a hospital.
I had to spend part of the next day re-​vacuuming, wiping down the counters and sweeping the bathroom floor. I regret that i wasted my money. After reading the reviews, i was willing to give yall a chance but see that i shouldn’t have.

I AM RE-​POSTING THIS BECAUSE IT IS SO INCREDIBLY OBVIOUS THAT THE COMPANY IS WRITING THEIR OWN 5-​STAR REVIEWS!!!
BUYER BEWARE. SCAM ALERT! Friend bought a voucher as a gift for me, online (halfoffdepot, com) for $ 40 I believe, after booking the appointment with Michael, was told by the cleaner tat I’m responsible for paying the taxes on its value of $ 250 ($ 20.55) Hellio. of you buy a shirt worth $ 500, for $ 50, you don’t pay sales tax on the $ 500 value. But okay. since it was a gift, and I didn’t see that coming, I paid it. I was presented with a typed letter explaining how the company can no longer afford to pay the taxes, and it was full of typos and misspelled words.(very unprofessional) again, since this was a gift, I proceeded but get this… they didn’t mop, and although they «cleaned» the kids bedroom, they didn’t even make the bed. At best, this is a VERY amateur business… at worst, fraudulent and shady. In addition to the voucher, I paid an additional $ 40 for tax and tip (tip, bc the cleaning crew did their best and shouldn’t be penalized for the inadequacy of the companions well, they did have to listen to me rant) BUYER BEWARE… it’s not worth the Groupon/​Yelp/​Halfoff discount… don’t do it.

Things started off rocky when they called the day before to confirm my appointment for WINDOW cleaning … no, it’s HOUSE cleaning … and would arrive between 8 and 10 a.m. Day of service arrives and they called at 9:55 a.m. to confirm the address (which they had wrong). The town isn’t that big and, theoretically, they would have been nearby even at a wrong address but crew didn’t show up until 11 a. m! I was greeted by a young man who was very polite and confirmed that my 2-​hour cleaning would be done by 2 people at 1 hour each, simultaneously. But – after he had a cigarette and used the restroom – Monasha informed me that the other crew member has asthma and can’t come in because I have cats. (If they have workers with limitations like that, they need to find out IN ADVANCE and SEND SOMEONE ELSE instead.) So he began work at 11:15 a.m. He asked to use MY vacuum cleaner as theirs was giving them trouble but ended up using theirs after all. To his credit, he got right to work and appeared to be pretty thorough, especially in the bathrooms which he says, with pride, are his specialty. He was cheerful and respectful which was a pleasant surprise. (He’s 20 but he looks like he’s 14!) I was entitiled to 2 hours of cleaning but his asthmatic co-​worker – who was waiting in the van – began honking the horn after 1.5 hrs! Monasha stayed to finish up the work I expected to be done and was still able to leave at 1 p.m. Although I’m reasonably satisfied with Monasha’s work, I would NOT use this company again.

I purchased an Eversave for this business back in January (2012). It wasn’t suppose to expire until July (2012). Our family is moving and we decided this would be a good deal for us to not have to clean after the house is empty.
I have tried for a week to get someone at this business on the phone or even return a phone call. They don’t. They list a website that doesn’t work/​doesn’t exist.
I can see by all the previous reviews this place is not professional at all. Positive reviews? Must have been left by family and friends. It’s a shame they have done this to potential repeat customers in this economy.
