Nice apartments generally well maintained. They are better looking and relatively new. Excellent storage Good laundry room.
Small tho. No place for even a small dinette if you want to fully use your LR as a LR. Another 2 feet width and 5 feet depth would help –or a different layout. They are DARK downstairs – lack of sufficient windows– at least in the 2BR apt. One window is in laundry room which is behind wall of kitchen. It does no good. Also the back walls up and downstairs could hold 2 windows the size of the small one that is present.
The main. assistant for apartments is very nice. The rental manager can at times be rude or imply something is your fault even if agreeing to take care of it. He may not mean it but it is how his responses come across. Also they have twice completely ignored problems. Once they responded when I emailed twice more – first a year later and finally 2 weeks later. Another they have yet to respond and it has been 3 weeks. 3 others they have responded in a reasonable time.
On a more general cleanliness – grounds are overall attractive. They are well maintained. The grounds are mowed regularly. The mailbox is sheltered. The patio is reasonable.
HOWEVER regarding a real problem of pet cleanliness around the grounds –which can be bad at times – all they do to attempt to enforce are sporadic (perhaps once every few months – irregular) written reminders. Once they also reminded that persons caught not cleaning will be evicted. This is an empty threat as no office onsite and neighbors don’t typically witness the deed – and if they do catching it on camera is unlikely. Other landlords remind monthly, leave bags and disposable bins or – more commonly – discreet signs reminding owners to pick up and what areas are off limits for waste. Such might not stop this unsanitary unsightly problem but it would help as I think most simply forget or don’t realize their dog waste can be a problem.
Not the worst far from the best landlord. The sense given (other than from the assistant) is tenants are an inconvenient part of making every penny possible.
