We booked this hotel 7 weeks in advance, also requested in the booking reservation for handicap access. Found out after an almost 5 hr drive that we were given a second floor room. My wife is handicapped and can’t go up 2 flights of stairs, they also have no elevator. They decided to cancel our stay and said we would be refunded. At 11pm I was left scrambling to find a hotel to accommodate my wife and 18 month old daughter 20 miles away. Adding insult to injury, they lied about the refund. After talking to Travelocity and trying to get refund, Travelocity called the hotel and the manager there refused to do the refund. The hotel staff refused to give me ANY documentation regarding what happened, except for a blank hotel receipt. After two hours of explaining what happened to Travelocity, I thankfully got a full refund. The experience was very upsetting and frustrating. STAYAWAY!!!
