I LOVETHISSTORE! I bought the small bottle of Jenny Q’s Herbals Middle Eastern Hair Oil and I cannot stop smelling my hair, my friends can’t stop smelling my hair and I want to bathe myself in this oil. What on earth is in this! It’s the most luxuriously delicious hair oil I have ever tried. This store is fantastic. Thank you Jenny Q for an inspiring beautiful shop. I can’t wait to return.

Grateful Desert is abundant in epic goodness. Jenny — the visionary behind this herbal haven — aims to create a flourishing community where people can go to acquire high quality herbal products, get knowledgeable information on preventive health, and to learn about therapeutic herbalism(see website - …). Her products are blossoming with her intuitive knowledge of herbs and it’s evident in talking with her — that she is extremely knowledgeable about healing with herbs and has the uncanny ability to treat each individual with genuine care and customized herbs. I was especially impressed with her herbal sprays which I discovered at the Joshua Tree Music Festival. They were invigorating and smelled enchanting. Though unfortunately Jenny was out of them at the festival — I was so smitten by them — that I went online and ordered three of them. If you happen to be in Joshua Tree — a visit to Grateful Desert will help you appreciate life and will renew your physical and mental spirit. If you don’t have the ability to venture that far — just check out Jenny’s website and try some of her blissful concoctions. Trust.

This place is awesome, a small shop in the heart of Joshua Tree with a big heart in a little gem of a small town. Jennie’s tinctures are beautifully healing, as her natural and personalized scents. also find some yummy foods incl. super duper delish chocolate, fun clothing and locally made stuff. A must see. And, Jenny, well, she is smart as a whip, and zeroes in real fast on what’s needed!

Among Joshua Tree Artists and Musicians, there are also healers. Jenny Q has become one of my healers with this shop. Not only do you find remedies for many ailments through her tinctures, but there are also locally crafted products such as Kat & Brett’s kreamy soaps(both in the box & the old school way they use to sale just raw good honest soap!), to «green» clothing made from rejected fabric that are fabulous, as well MiddleEastern staples such as olive oil, olives, and tahini(for your homemade hummus). Local artist James Hammons art can be found in the form of great mugs. This is what Joshua Tree was born to be and should remain to be… a healing resource… an oasis for those seeking good health. Jenny Q, thank you for being another gem in Joshua Tree. We wish you all the success you deserve! Rosa’s pick: Tension tamer #2 body oil… use it as a perfume when really stressed! Shop local, STARTHERE… you & your body will thank me!
