Rock Climb Every Day

Our guide Jim went above and beyond what we expected. We booked a Half Day Rock Climbing Adventure with 5 people. A 6^th person joined us, which worked out well. Jim quickly set us up on two top ropes with easier routes to get going. We split into groups of three and Jim taught everyone how to belay. The third person of each group was a belay backup for safety. Jim provided lots of advice while we all climbed 3 – 4 routes. After that we could have been done considering we booked a half-​day, but Jim took us to another location where we got to try out two more challenging routes.
I also spent another day later in the week alone with Jim. He gave me a great overview of anchor building and trad climbing. Exactly what I was looking for. Fit in a ton of instruction for a short period of time. Gave me a good base of knowledge to get me climbing outdoors.
I also found Rock Climb Every Day’s website, booking process and communication to be fantastic. Highly recommended.

We booked a rock climbing adventure in Joshua Tree with Olga. We were primarily going to have her climb with our 12-​year old, who’s an experienced indoor climber. However Olga also took our two other kids (6 and 9) up for some climbing and rappelling. She was awesome. She has a great personality, is super knowledgeable, and truly went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure we had a great day. Olga was prepared with everything we might need. I would absolutely recommend her and RCED to anyone interested in climbing. I’d give her more than 5 stars if I could!

Went rapelling. The instructors were great, the entire activity was really fun, and the venue was really good.

Olga is an awesome instructor. She provides a safe and fun atmosphere where you’ll get a ton of hands on training. We had a great time! My 13 & 15 year old sons & I took a beginner climbing class in Chatsworth. And she added on a bonus repelling class. We spent the entire day climbing and repelling. I highly recommend.

I have done many classes with the RCED crew and could not be happier. From a first timer to the seasoned climber they have you covered. They are very knowledgeable and teach you at your pace. I will continue to climb with them and to recommend them. They are a fun crew that keeps you safe and laughing!

Where can I start? I started rock climbing four years ago with Olga and I’ve always had a great time. Many laughs and memories with RCED. Great instructors and a no pressure environment for beginners.

I have always enjoyed climbing in the gym, but thanks to Olga and RCED I have been able to take it out doors! Olga has taught me how to be safe while enjoying the beauty of outdoor climbing. She has an amazing talent and passion for teaching, climbing, and people. My friends and I took an anchor building class from her last fall. There was so much to learn but we were all successful in learning how to build safe and secure anchors. We also enjoyed Olga’s thorough and energetic teaching style. Thanks Olga for getting me and my friends climbing outdoors. It has changed my life!

We took our first class with RCED a little over a year ago and have been climbing with RCED ever since. The instruction is first class, I would recommend anyone and everyone to look no further than RCED for rock combing instruction. RCED creates rock climbing and camping outings throughout the year (pretty much every weekend) and the students are invited to participate and practice their skills with the group, what other climbing instructors do that, none that I know of. One of the best things about climbing with RCED are the friendships I’ve made, Olga and Carlos are the best and so much fun.,

Olga from rock climb everyday has been my instructor of choice for the last year. She provided my refresher course, my lead climbing course, my anchor building course, and my trad climbing course. I have trusted her with my training and continue to. I have spent many weekends climbing with her and her crew. Her energy, safety focus, positivity, and depth of knowledge all keep me coming back for more. I love rock climb everyday.

I’ve always wanted to pick up the sport of rock climbing (outdoors to be particular) so I spontaneously booked me and a friend a session with RCED. It was a nice way of getting my foot in the door and seeing what it’s like in comparison to indoor gyms. They were very professional, accommodating, and prompt with questions I had through email and reserved a slot for us within a day’s notice :) Our instructor Olga, was really kind and patient. With 7 years of experience and teaches classes for lead climbing and anchoring, she’s quite the expert. You can tell she’s very passionate when it comes to climbing and even climbs when she’s not working. She was great at instructing us with basic guidelines to follow and is a stickler when it comes to safety. No complaints here because those verticals were no joke! She showed us to a few different rock faces that were just the right amount of challenge. We broke out sweating after struggling to climb the harder one. Of course, if you’re not up for anything too strenuous there are easier rocks to climb.
Overall, it was such a great experience for us that my friend wants to pick up rock climbing too! We felt 100% safe and I’ve walked away with more knowledge than I did before. My body now feels like mush so I know I’ve got a good workout. Will definitely request for Olga again. Btw, RCED even have weekly outings they hold at different locations once you’re subscribed to their mailing list. Oh, and they supply all of the equipment you’ll need to climb i.e. harness, shoes, helmets. Just remember to bring your camera and water.

Olga is the best instructor a first time climber could ask for. After climbing in the gym for a few weeks, I was itching to try outdoor climbing and i was so happy to have met Olga.
I went out to climb with her in Joshua Tree and we had a full day blast! Climbing outdoor is very different from climbing indoor. It just requires more skills, knowledge, confident, and techniques and that’s why i think that it’s important for everyone to take at least a class from a professional.
Climbing outdoor is extremely dangerous because if you don’t know how to set up anchor well or familiar with the rock, it could be the last time you ever climb.
Olga is a very experienced climber but she is still always so careful about everything which I really appreciate because it helped me being more confident on the rope.
I’d like to describe my climbing experience with Olga beyond just a class but it was rather an experience. She knew so much about climbing and the location that I felt like I was on a national geographic expedition or something.
And the greatest thing about taking a class with Olga is that you will get to connect with other new climbers and get invited to future climbing trips with other students, which is something that no other climbing school really offers.

I took a class in December with Olga in Barstow. Olga is an enthusiastic instructor. I was nervous, and she was super encouraging. We got to climb for over the four hours of instruction. And, as pointed out in the other review, once you’ve taken the class, they invite you back to climb for free so you can practice and hone your skills. So, it’s a great deal!
