Description

Specialties

Camp Cuyamaca has served 5th and 6th grade students in our week long residential outdoor science school program since 1946. The students attend with their school teachers as part of their regular school year. Students are connected to science and nature through hands on activities in the beautiful 25,000 acre Cuyamaca Rancho State Park. Students live in cabins, eat in the dining hall, participate in social growth and recreational activities as well as the science lessons.

History

Established in 1946.

We have served over 1 million students in our science education program from school districts all over San Diego County and beyond.

Meet the Manager

Greg S.

Manager

I have been fortunate enough to have been the Principal of Cuyamaca Outdoor School since 1991! I absolutely love serving the teachers and students from over 100 schools every year in our science and nature education program. I received my degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Education from Michigan State University in 1981. I started my career at the Orange County Outdoor Science School that year.
