Candy Apple Inn

Best girls weekend ever! They have truly thought of everything. Every corner of this house was covered in cute details. The location is hard to find in the dark, but GPS finds it fine. It was great to eat dinner on the porch and watch deer come up so close!
We were drinking mimosas at 8:30 in the morning and more adult drinks by noon!

The Candy Apple Inn is a scrapbooker’s dream retreat house! Our group heard about it though winning a prize at the last Scrapbook Expo in San Diego.
CAI offers a 4 bedroom house with 4 ½ baths in a 2400 sqft home on 1.6 acres. Each bedroom has it’s own private master bathroom. Downstairs the living room has been converted into scrapbook central. Each guest gets their own 6ft table to work on. Upstairs there is a craft corner with all the latest scrapbooking equipment you can borrow. Next to that, there’s a nice living room section with a tv, dvd player and dvds when you want to take a break from scrapbooking. There is also a full kitchen with all that you would need to cook for yourself during your stay. Michelle Snead, the owner of the CAI also stocks the kitchen with goodies: candy, water, soda and a TUB of chocolate chip cookie dough for guests to make fresh cookies!
You can also enjoy the beautiful views of nature from their 15ft wrap around porch. Early in the morning we saw a pack of wild turkeys and later in the day deer walked past the house. The house is a 3mile drive from downtown Julian where you can go to get delicious apple pies and other apple delights.
