We have had only great food here, all home made and delicious. This past week I tried the turkey wrap… Omg! The bacon on it had to be ¼″ thick which had been baked and deep fried, cooked to perfection, so I asked the waitress how he cooked it. I have never had bacon like this, awesome, all pork, saw no fat. The wrap was awesome and will be back to
have again soon. Someone wrote on here that they were nickel and dimed on drinks. We usually have water, our drink of choice with a meal, so no problem with that!

The atmosphere is great and you don’t ever feel like a stranger the first time you enter the Barrel House. The owners do a good job of making their customers feel special. The food here is good and a is a surprising departure from normal «tavern» food. Try the fish fry on Friday night. You won’t be disappointed.

Although the food was good, I am ratings this establishment a 2 due to not knowing in advance that they would nickel and dime you to death on drinks. I believe that you should communicate with your customers and NOT surprise them with ridiculous charges.
My wife had 2 glasses of tea and I had 2 cokes all fountain and that was $ 10. I thought we had found a new place to go eat but I was wrong. It would have been cheaper to drink beers!

Waitress was nice, bartender wouldn’t give the time of day ordered steak sand med rare with French onion soup. The soup was cold. Not an onion to find just broth. Steak
sand came out med well, dry and tasteless.

This is a pub style restaurant. Great burgers and pulled pork. Wife liked the portabella mushroom sandwich. Much more than just bar food, and they are open on Mondays. Great food, great service. Highly recommend!

My new favorite place! Awesome burgers, great fries, good specials, and GREAT drinks. They have an awesome Jack Daniels theme, so if you love whiskey, you’ll feel right at home. I had a bacon and cheese burger with fries, though I was very tempted to try the Build Your Own Burger special, and everything was great. The showstopper though was the Vegetarian Burger my fiancé had. It’s a seasoned and grilled Portobello mushroom cap with all the usual burger add-​ons. Neither of us are vegetarians, but I think that’s going to be the future stand-​by for us. Trust us, it’s awesome. Best place in the area by far!
