I recently broke down on I-95, passing through from Fort Lauderdale. Not knowing the area, this shop was recommended by AAA, so I had the car towed there. I was picked up from the shop by a relative and continued on with my trip. A couple of days later I received a call from Steve, one of the mechanics with a rather high estimate ($ 650) to replace a simple alternator, a routine job. Needless to say I was very shocked and disappointed, given the friendly service I had received as well as the positive recommendations from AAA. I had the car picked up and serviced elsewhere at a much reasonable price. I was also charged $ 37 for the estimate. I understand that when someone shows up at a shop with a broken car on a tow truck, you’re pretty much are at their mercy.

Awesome service and fast! They were nice enough to mount and balance some gently used tires that I had. Other places turned me away. Really nice guys and had them done by end of day. Thanks again! We’ll be sure to use again in the future.

Had a ton of trouble with my last mechanic, eventually took it to these guys after reading good things elsewhere on the internet.
They get to your car super quickly (whether you make an appointment or not). If you make an appointment on their website, though, you save I think 10% on labor, so that’s always nice.
Everyone I’ve dealt with at Jupiter Auto & Tire is very friendly and they’re good at what they do. The only reason I knocked off a star is for price — but it’s worth it for the service you get.
