Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa

As part of the Opal Collection a certain standard is expected — the Jupiter Beach Resort is no exception! The rooms were nicely furnished, amenities abundant and the location was perfect. Get to the pool early to score a day bed, and be sure to check out the adult only hammock area… Oh, and the Banana Foster Cheesecake was out of this world!

First time staying here, it’s a beautiful resort. The Staff are very helpful & friendly. Rooms are clean and roomy. The only complaint, was we had a room, that was next to a crying baby, who woke us, walls must thin. Would stay again for sure!

We booked an ocean view room for my birthday weekend; however, the only view we received was palm trees, the parking lot, and the building across the street. The front desk, valet service, and housekeeping were all very friendly. The amenities were great and the hotel was clean and updated. In the morning you can get complimentary coffee and in the afternoon they have wonderful infused water and fresh baked cookies in the lobby. The beach was not overcrowded and they had plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas for use. We do wish they had a mini fridge and/​or microwave in the room, for those who wish to pick up dinner near by and not spend an arm and a leg in the hotel restaurant. Overall, it was a great stay.

Not missing a thing. Beach with plenty of chairs. Pool relaxing. Outside bar comfy. Restaurants served most fantastic food ever. Must get a suite as rooms are small.

The accommodations are pretty good given the price I paid, but lots of small problems lead me to write a poor review:
1) would only extend late check out by 30 minutes, however, when I asked to add a day to my existing room they admitted it was not booked and available
2) I asked for a spoon be brought to my room and they brought a knife and fork
3) I tried to reach the concierge several times and was never able to reach them (voicemail)
4) tv in room was ancient, connection was lost constantly, and there is no way to rent movies
I wouldn’t recommend staying here, especially if you have to pay more than $ 200 a night.

The one star is for my first night at 3:00 in the morning two men were looking for a woman with no regard for sleeping people banging on doors for a good 15 min .over 50 people called for security to no avail .the place is Beautiful food is great safety is on the back Burner. day 2 went out last night for diner got back at 11:30 no parking available. At 8:30 this morning I had to get up because furniture was being moved above me 300 a nite I would have slept better in the car it’s a shame this was one of the best places to come to

Room smells like a toilet bowl cleaner and front desk agreed. Checked another room and smelled musty.
Mattress was so old it leaned and I thought I would roll out of the bed.
Surprisingly the restaurant sucked ass equally as bad.
Shockingly bad experience.
Checked out after first night.
Avoid this place.

Our resort view room, king suite, was horrible. Our view was of the restaurant and banquet room rooftop. Looked at it for the entire week. Carpet in our room was sticky in places with lots of snags, just didn’t feel upscale.
The US flag was very tattered and torn. Mentioned it to mgmt who said it was the doormans job but he’d mention it.
Beach, firness room, pool and hot tub were all very nice.

Went here for my wife’s birthday weekend. Had a beautiful oceanfront suite. The service starts at the front door. Excellent valet service that makes you feel special. Very inviting, knowledgeable and patient. Food and drinks pool side were really good. Sliders, quesadilla’s and margaritas… check, check, check!
Very spacious room, beautiful beach. Nice beach attendant. Plush towels, great weather didn’t hurt. Front desk staff was pleasant and accommodating at check-​in. Everything was spotless on our visit.
We can’t wait to go back. A hidden jewel in our own backyard!

Had a issue with the website I wound up booking 2 rooms by mistake
Not realizing till next morning
Spoke to reservations, was basically told to bad
Reservations was confirmed and it can’t be changed.
So I asked for manager they put me on with reservations manager Mellissa
She informed me that once it’s in the system it can’t be backed out (to say she was dismissive would be putting it lightly)
I explained I work in a similar industry and she could easily back it out
So either she didn’t want to do it
Or she didn’t have the power to do it
Either way she wouldn’t even try
So I looked up general manager
Bob Grossman
He was very pleasant
Bob listened to my story and in 5 mins he had a
Associate of his calling me back
They took care of cancelling my room
Mr Grossman thank you for your professionalism and fast service
I will be coming back here any chance I can get
Also good is excellent
I eat lunch here at least once a month
And Michele is one of my favorite bartenders

I would feel guilty giving any less then 5 stars. This place was top notch (for the price) from top to bottom.
Our room was large, clean, and had a fridge, which saved us $$ by not having to go out and eat every meal.
The pool area was warm and inviting. Had a great bar overlooking the pool, pool side waiter was professional and friendly. Hammocks on the grounds, and the beach was 30 feet from the back of the hotel. Free internet service, free cookies at night… inc. flavored waters
There was a TV room, and a pool table that were both set up very classy… not tacky at all. All the staff was very friendly from the frt. desk to the bartenders to the doormen.
I am looking forward to coming back

If I could give it 10 stars, I would! By far the cleanest, friendlies, greatests place I have ever stayed!!! The restaurant is amazing! The spa (did I use this word before?) AMAZING! So friendly, knowledgeable, and AMAZING! The cleanliness wowed me! I have a cleaning business, so I know what I’m talking about. Amazing
Ok, let me expound. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis. I had the foot reflexology and let me tell you, I feel great! He also gave me many helpful tips during the procedure. (like getting golf balls for my feet to do this at home.) The same with my facial. They worked hard to accommodate my busy schedule. My reflexology man came in early just for me.
So many small niceties. Warm cookies in the lobby mid-​afternoon with berry infused water.
Keurig in every room. Bottled water. Every room gets lounge chairs for the pool area. Very clean rooms and they have a mid day fresh up and turn down service.
I will definitely be back!

Very nice for a destination get away. Called guest services to let them know the entire second floor permeated with cigarette smoke and was staring to come into my room. Was told to «put a towel at the bottom of my door to keep it from coming in until they could spray the hallway». Ummmmm… Ok.

This hotel is good and bad. Could be great if they paid attention to the details. Stayed here twice, ocean front suite is great ocean is right there. Regular room too small and has no amenities. Bar and restaurant service and food is excellent. Pool is small and crowded, rooms could be amazing but need updating and good cleaning. Walls, windows & doors dirty. Was here last weekend and the only restaurant on premise was closed for renovation, no mention of this on the website, very dissapointing experience.

First off, let me just say this: Cabana beach service, no extra charge.
You can relax at the beach, on your two complimentary (per room booked) lounge chairs under a giant blue beach umbrella reviewing their wide selection of alcoholic beverages (well priced @ $ 8.50)and food items.
Once you’ve come to a decision (which I suggest be the Thyme Berry Lemonade), one of the friendly and attentive servers will happily come under your beach umbrella next to your lounge chair and take your order.
Minutes later, you’ve got a drink in your hand, breakfast/​lunch/​or dinner ready and waiting for you to devour on your beachside table, without having to take a single step in the sand. This made for quite a relaxing stay-​cation.
Other than this luxurious pro, the hotel was clean, with updated bathrooms and amenities. My only tiff about the rooms is about the beds. They are so high up that I had to jump (not leap or hop, literally jump with effort) to get on the bed. Also, they aren’t very comfortable. My husband and I, including our friends, did not sleep well at all. But we also didn’t expend much energy and just relaxed at the beach, even taking a quicky nap here and there under the umbrella.
There is complimentary coffee in the morning by the restaurant on the lobby level — and also a Keurig machine in the hotel rooms.
Oh and get the French Fries! We had split an order and had to get more. Perfect snack on the beach and they are probably one of the top seasoned french fries I’ve had anywhere (my friend and I like to think of ourselves as french fry connisuers)
The beach: on Labor Day weekend it wasn’t overcrowded, it felt like it was a secret spot which was a huge plus. Overall, the typical crowd consisted of a nice mix of young families and couples. Everyone respected eachother space and were friendly and chill.
The water was so clear in the early am, you could see the fish and jellyfish (there are plenty of them so be cautious!) everywhere, which was awesome.
Overall, we all enjoyed our weekend getaway here. How can you not in a nice hotel, on a beautiful beach with wonderful service?

Wonderful hotel, however one of the worst salon experiences in MY LIFE!!! DO NOT GET YOUR HAIR DONE HERE.
I wanted a simple blow out (blow dry straight)
However, I called TWICE and verified that the stylist please be experienced in blow drying curly hair & extensions. They informed me TWICE they would have a master stylist for me & that they could def do it!
In Miami I have never had issues as many women have similar hair, however I’ve had my share of stylist that have no idea what to do with my hair. Which is completely FINE, but I rather save my time, money & their’s and go elsewhere.
Upon arrival I was greeted by a wonderful front desk girl named Shelly.
Things are good still at this point.
I was booked with a stylist IMARA, who greeted me with a sour face & severe attitude as If she didn’t want to be there.
Red flag #1.
She proceeded to wash my hair & immediately I knew she did NOT know how to manage extensions. She was washing the hair in a way any professional knows will knot extensions. You always wash down & the scalp. I was getting nervous at this point.
After washing she starts rolling her eyes and asking why was my hair so knotted… Seriously?
The blow dry was a HORRIFIC. She was using the wrong brushes, no sectioning & throwing down brushes as if she was so upset to be there. It was really uncomfortable for me to watch & my hair was looking more like a train wreck.
She announced she was done & my hair was a giant puff of frizz, parts still damp, half not straightened. I looked at her in disbelief, how Could she be done?
I told her if she could please straighten the pieces and dry parts… The fact I even had to explain this was beyond me.
She said she would have to charge me extra with full attitude. At that point I was over it, I said here I’ll blow dry it myself, she then in full voice said «look you have bad hair, it’s damaged, there’s nothing I can do»
I picked up the blow dryer and showed her how my «bad hair» should be done & it went from the frizz mess she made to straight and right.
I informed her her lack of knowledge in styling is now clear… And she is IGNORANT for her statement… Bad hair? Im Puerto Rican you ignorant disrespectful woman.
I get my hair blow dried WEEKLY & have some of the best stylist do a spectacular job under 40 mins with no problem… Is this a way to speak to guests???
To blame her lack of knowing to do hair was not only severely hurtful, but disgusting. I am not sure how a woman as this even works at such a gorgeous establishment.
Terrible customer service & disrespect after a wonderful 2 night stay. We spent a lot of money within our stay & are very displeased with the outcome of what was supposed to be a wonderful and relaxing experience.
People of that caliber should not work with customers & if you want to be a credible stylist in SOUTH FLORIDA (ESPECIALLY) you may want to go back to school & learn to manage all types of hair.
I will be taking this situation with corporate & situations as this should not be taken lightly. p

Spent one night at this hotel in room 622 ocean front for my hubby’s birthday. FWe enjoyed the view of the ocean and the comfort of the room. To our surprise this room has 2 balconies in which the view was amazing! The hotel is not as modern as we like but it is well kept. This room in particular didn’t have a bathtub which we like to enjoy, it just had a small/​medium sized standup shower. Although I should add that if you get an ocean front shoot for the higher floors because when we were in one in the 4^th the palm trees blocked the view, thus I requested to be moved. The type of clientele that comes to this hotel is mainly an older crowd at least during December which is when I was there. Which is fine with me because it keeps everything calm. We had breakfast at the lounge they had there and it was pretty decent. Great time overall. Resort fee ends up being ~28 $ per day.

Very nice location. Went here for a business meeting for 3 days and no one was disappointed. As a matter of fact, everyone was pleased.
The food offered was GREAT! The food that was offered was mostly with a Caribbean taste to it. lots of chicken with pineapple, some bbq ribs, and lots of seafood.
The location is pretty secluded so it makes for a nice getaway from city life. Very relaxing.
At night during summer time, try to avoid the mosquitoes. They are everywhere because the hotel is surrounded with so much wildlife.
The pools looked great and it was a very nice family atmosphere.
I would consider visiting this location again during vacation time.

Booked an Ocean view room but when we checked in I’m staring at a parking lot and building across the street. The staff are rude and offered absolutely no compromise for the situation.
My wife and I got married here six years ago and spent over $ 20,000 on our ceremony. Needless to say we wanted to come back and relax where we decided to spend our lives together.
I will not be coming back to this hotel again. I get treated better at a Holiday Inn; waste of $ 300.

Because of my ridiculous life and the age I am at, I have stayed at resorts a lot recently (weddings and 30^th birthdays are a large part of my life). The last few that I have stayed in have been disappointing. When I think resort, I think top notch. I FINALLY FOUND ONE!
Jupiter Beach Resort is absolutely beautiful. Nestled right on Jupiter Beach (hence the name), the views from the room are GORGEOUS. I found myself waking up each morning and quickly drawing the curtains to stare into the ocean. The rooms were very nice and modern with lots of detail, even down to the bathroom. I also went to the restaurant on the property, which was very good.
The pool was an experience all in itself. The pool is large enough to be kid friendly or adult friendly. There is also a very large hot tub with a water fall. Volleyball courts and hammocks line the outside near the beach, so there is really something for everyone at this pool. Lastly, the pool bar offers delicious refreshments for guests to enjoy.
I want to come back to Jupiter solely to stay in this awesome resort again.
