Scuba Works

I took an open water scuba certification with Scuba Works (instructors Adam, Steve, & Jeremy) the past two weekends, I couldn’t be any happier about the experience I’ve had. The amount of comfort and knowledge I’ve gained from this group is outstanding. I highly recommend SW for your certification and any scuba needs. Beyond the team I worked directly with anyone you come into contact with at the shop is so friendly and helpful. Looking forward to attending many of their group fun dives in the near future! Thanks for everything y’all, y’all are an All-​Star team.

Fantastic as fantastic can be customer service. Got my Nitrox certification at the shop, went diving with the crew and had a great time. Did a wreck and reef dive, saw so much life in 2 dives that I haven’t seen in 20. Excellent company, will definitely dive with them again!

Amazing customer service. My daughter and I were in Jupiter, visiting from NY. We rented some equipment– which was quality equipment in brand new condition — so affordable!
Shop had some good sales — I bought some snorkeling apparel that I love.
During my next trip to the area I brought my husband to the shop and picked up a great pair of fins. Found Scuba Pro to be better than some of the larger scuba retail stores. They also have an expansive collection of masks. Their prices are very reasonable and the staff genuinely assist you in finding the best equipment for your needs — rather than trying to up-​sell you.

Awesome dive shop. My go to shop for accurate nitrox fills and service on my equipment. I needed my gear fixed in a pinch and they were happy to accommodate. Everyone is very friendly and helpful in the shop. Convenient hours and location.

Made 2 dives this morning on Lazy Daze with Captain Brandon. Great dives, great boat and great Divers. It doesn’t get any better than this. We saw Goliath Grouper, sharks, turtles and captured lots of bugs. Lobster for dinner tonight — yum! Book through Scuba Works, the best dive shop in Palm Beach county.

Shark Diving with Capt Randy on Emerald Charters was amazing. Don’t come without your Nitrox.
Crew is great and boat is filled according. Experienced divers on this Dive Welcome. If you DON’T want to dive with HUNGRY SHARKS, there are other charters to book.
No Cage diving here!

Professional, friendly and knowledgable! My husband and I used our Groupon to take a class with Scuba Works and were immediately impressed with the family-​typed environment. Every staff member has been expertly trained and are friendly and goes out of their way to make sure that you have a superior experience. We have dove several times on the WET TEMPTATIONS boat, and it was an extension of the 5-​Star quality staff.

Went on the shark dive with Captain Randy on Emerald Charters — un-​freakin-​believable! So much fun, more than a little bit scary, but I would go back in a heartbeat. You do three dives, all of which require that you know what you are doing — especially the drift with the sharks. Randy gives a thorough briefing on how best to keep yourself safe and I felt well-​prepared to face multiple sharks, including a great hammerhead and a tiger shark!
My main suggestion would be to have an updated website where the gear you need — as well as the gear you should not bring — is clearly listed. I came down from DC and did this dive, not knowing to leave my white fins at home and to bring a hood, gloves, etc. Part of this falls on the guys I went with who planned the trip, but Scuba Works/​Emerald Charters should also make more of an effort to make these things known. The staff at Scuba Works was very helpful but I was kind of upset to learn that I would have to spend more money to rent gear that I already own, but just didn’t have with me. In case this message doesn’t reach them and you are heading out shark diving — wear all black, as much black as you can put on your body — mask, hood, gloves, full wetsuit, etc. etc. With not very good eyesight, the sharks tend to look for contrast when deciding what might be food, and I know I don’t want to give them a reason to think I might be tasty!
And lunch (which is provided) was delicious — just not as delicious as the big tuna and snapper Randy cut up to feed to the sharks!

Diving with Captain Joe and his crew was the best diving experience you can ask for. Felt very safe at all times, trusted the crew, they were extremely helpful to beginning divers, quality snacks and drinks were provided in quantity. The crew allowed us to snorkel in the shallows while we waited to do our second dive which was a nice treat! Will definitely be back to dive with Scuba Works again soon.

This review can’t say enough about how awesome my dive instructor (Donna Askew), Caption Joe & the crew of Wet Temptations and last but not least Scuba Works are — all top notch that always exceeds expectations.

Came back for the third time to dive with scuba works on wet temptations #1 for the professionalism, proper briefing and setup on the boat but also the friendly crew. It’s Florida so expect to see a few sharks!

This is going to sound a bit harsh– but any diver (or especially a prospective diver) would be a complete idiot if they did NOT go to Scuba Works. The Scuba Works staff has the collective knowledge and patience unparalleled by any shop I looked into. I recently took the PADI Open Water Scuba class there and had never been more than 5 ft down on a snorkeling trip. With the help of Adam, Donna, Rob, Scott, and the rest of the staff, I was able to not only complete the open water course, but now have the confidence to try to dive even the murky waters of the Jersey Shore… Captain Joe of the Wet Temptations, knows the best spots to go and is just a general awesome guy to chat up. In other words, I’m only disappointed that Unilocal won’t let me give them 6 stars!!!

We visited Florida from our home in Virginia. There are many dive shops in the area, but I was so thankful I found Scuba Works. The people are skilled, friendly, and go out of their way to ensure your total satisfaction. Their are many choices when you travel, but these people made you feel like a long time customer. Thank you all very much.

My husband and I got open water and enriched air PADI certified through Scuba Works about year and half ago. This place is Awesome. Every time we come to Florida to scuba dive we go through Scuba Works, we do our rentals through them and book or boat trips through them as well. They know what they are doing and are very flexible as well.
Last week we went into scuba works on Thursday and booked 2 trips for Friday and Saturday morning. Thursday night I got horrible ear pain; friday morning i went to the doctor and found out i had a nasty swimmers ear infection. We called scuba works and left a message. They called us early and said it was fine and didn’t charge us for the missed trip. They let us hold it as credit for our next trip. Also, on Saturday my husband went scuba diving like planned and Scuba works allowed me to be a «bubble watcher» on the Wet temptations boat complementary on them.

I got certified with SCUBA WORKS about five years ago and haven’t been driving much since. Work and life got in the way. A friend and coworker nudged me to sign up for today’s dive so, I dove in! Nervous and scared I went along and I am so happy I did! The entire crew and everyone on board was extremely friendly and went out of their way to call me by name and make sure I felt comfortable. They had plenty of snacks (chips, nuts, fresh fruit, water/​soda) and the boat was super clean! Will def dive Wet Temptations again! Thank you Rob for being my buddy! You’re the best.

We just complete a diving certification with Scuba Works and found them to be professional and fun! This is an excellent group of folks that treat everyone as friends. The boat is great and the crew is very safe!

Went on their boat Wet Temptations 3÷7÷15 and had a great time. The crew was very friendly, up beat, and knowledgeable. They put us on a good little reef section where we saw a ton of fish and one giant goliath grouper. The surf got a little rough and we had to go in a little early but we will definitely be back!

I completed my open water and enriched air with them about three months ago and had a great experience. Donna Askew was my teacher and Tyler Hazelwood was assisting and both were wonderful. The shop as a lot to chose from in terms of gear, both for sale and rental. There was about three different people helping me out with sizing and features and Im still very happy with all my purchases.
I’ve also gone on eight dives with their boat ‘Wet Temptations’ and while I don’t have anything to compare it to (finding it hard to book on another boat because of my experiences thus far on theirs) they have all left me with a huge smile across my face and some really nice memories. The captain makes good drops and pick ups and the dive masters are knowledgeable, safe and fun in the water. The crew up top seems to be always ‘on’ helping out with gear, briefings, fielding questions and handing out water and snacks.
So as far as courses, shop and boat I think they are fantastic!

They have the gear I need, when I need it, at market prices. They also book the boats I want to dive on and have always had a rep on the dives. Been going to dive shops over 20 years and can not name a finer one. Plus if you play your cards right, you can pet an employees puppy!

I took my Dive computer in to have the battery replaced. They told me over the phone and when I brought it in that they could replace the battery. A week later they called & told me that they had to replace a hose on my regulator as well. The following week and another call. My regulator & computer was ready, but oops they were not able to replace the battery. They offered no explanation and charged $ 114. I won’t be going back. Terrible customer service!
