Uni K WAX-Jupiter

Best waxing experience I have ever had! I usually always get my waxing needs done at a nail salons just so I can get everything done in one place. Once I started noticing how uneven my eyebrows were beginning to look I started thinking about some alternatives.
My boss referred me to Uni K Wax and told me how they use paperless wax and all of that good stuff. I waited a while to grow my eyebrows out before letting anyone lay their hands on them.
Yesterday was my first visit to Uni K I walked in and was already surprised by how professional the place is laid out. You feel as though you are at a doctors office. I thought it would be just a big room with waxing beds everywhere. There are private rooms for each guest to receive their service. The man at the desk explained everything to me and I asked for a brow and lip waxing.
I waited no longer than 5 minutes and Lisette warmly welcomed me and led me to my room. I got comfortable on the bed and she returned with the wax that smelled phenomenal and fresh!
Now, being used to being waxed with papers or cloth I am expecting this to be just as painful. Lisette started with my brows and I could tell she was taking her time which I loved!!! The eyebrow wax was so painless I couldn’t believe it. It felt like just pulling tape off of your skin. My lip wax was also significantly less painful than getting it done the common way.
When Lisette handed me a mirror and told me to take a look I was extremely nervous because I knew how my eyebrows looked when I walked in and they were not going to be easy to work with. I looked in the mirror and WOW! I was amazed! My eyebrows haven’t looked this good in years! They were exactly what I was hoping for and couldn’t be happier.
Prices were reasonable especially for the great job that they do. Highly recommend Uni K!!! Will be returning soon for a Brazilian wax ;)

I absolutely love this place! It’s always super clean no matter if I walk in with or without an appointment. I have used just about everyone because I wanted to find the best person to go to. Recently I went to lisette and I’m pretty sure she took everything with her. The pain was unbearable and the recovery was awful.
I will definitely be going back but to Marta or Melina instead. The wax is so much different from other places and usually recovery only last for a few hours if that. Besides my not so great experience this place is awesome.

I have been a customer here for over 2 years now and have never been disappointed. I see Melina regularly and she always does a great job. The place is spotless and everyone is professional. They have great hours and online scheduling which makes it incredibly convenient.

I’ve visited Uni K Wax Center on Military Trail several times. Always experienced professional waxing services by different attendants.
The pretty green and purple facility is ultra-​clean. When I just walk-​in, I never have to wait more than a few minutes to get my waxing needs taken care of.
All my visits to Uni K Wax have been good ones.
This company is far better than European Wax — which on one occasion, literally ripped a segment of my lip off resulting profuse bleeding which did not stop for a long time and … BTW NO apology from the employee for my grief :(
On another occasion at European Wax I was hustled to leave more tip money by the front desk attendant when I had already paid a generous tip to the wax technician.
Very unprofessional behavior INMHO so am grateful to have discovered and made the switch to Uni K.

I went in a few weeks ago and requested a tour. This place is clean! I have worked in the beauty industry for several years and am picky. This place portions out wax for every customer and after they completed the service the wax is thrown out! No swapping of germs from customer to customer!
I had my first wax with this company today. The bikini wax was fast, easy and reasonably priced. The wax they use is very different… almost like a dough or something. It feels very thick on the skin and you can tell it stretches and doesn’t break off like other hard waxes. In fact, I even told the provider that it didn’t feel like any hair was coming up! It definitely did. My wax is clean and complete. There are a few strays but I did see they have a «touch up» item on their menu for within 12 days after the wax for the hairs that grow slower.
I can’t remember my providers name but she was blonde and from Poland… very nice and professional!
My only negative comment is that they do not use draping techniques so you are all out in the open the whole time, but the wax is so quick, so I can understand why they don’t. A upper leg and full Brazilian took only about 45 minutes from the time I walked to the room to the time I checked out and made my next appointment!

I was going to the one in Gainesville and was soooo happy to see that they have one down here.
They are very clean and bright and it feels safe and very private.
I have VERY sensitive skin and other wax I’ve used in the past cause all kinds of problems but with this stuff my recovery is so fast!
The cost seems to be reasonable. I am alittle lost on what to get or not get too many options. Maybe a flat cost would be nice.
It’s a hit or miss so far on how well all the hair is removed but the wax is worth it. Maybe I just need to find the person because in Gainesville Olga got every little bit of hair.
I will be coming back over and over and over :-)

went here for waxing of all sorts and they did an excellent job. Marta is very good. will definitely be my new go-​to spot for waxing. totally clean and professional place, really polite and friendly staff, competitive prices.

I have been a customer if unikwax for approx 5 years. Unfortunately the last two times I have been with Marta it has not been a great experience. She is rushed and places very hot wax without cooling it because she is in a hurry. I thought I would try again and I got her and it was horrible. I will not stop going to unikwax but since I travel for work I will be going to a different location

Their «organic» wax is sooooo NOT worth it. I take pain pretty well and have been waxed plenty of times prior to coming here, this place almost had me in tears. Horrible, horrible experience.

Unik Wax is a national chain that is franchised. This location is teeny tiny but really managed well. A technician called in sick the day of my appointment (and right before my cruise) and they tried to cancel my appointment — but after I explained the circumstances, they understood the waxing «emergency» and fit me in BEFORE their official opening time.
One of the girls there used to be the Anastasia eyebrow tech at Nordstroms and does great eyebrows. I think her name is Milena?

I forgot to tell you that I ended up getting a really attractive rash that lasted like four days after getting my free wax. I have sensitive skin so if you have sensitive, delicate, supple-​angel-​like skin such as myself, do yourself a favor and go get your furrowed brows threaded instead of waxed. Lest you wax here and develop some beautiful pimple-​like bumps to show off your new arch.
Too much?

First time I came here I had this girl who I will call «Mrs. Blah». She had no personality and was kind of scary. She looked a little evil and I think she wanted me to look evil too since she arched my eyebrows so much, I looked like the Evil Stepmother in Cinderella. I was very upset. Then she did my chin too and seriously, she was so rough I think that’s why I had a bad reaction and broke out.
Not a pleasant first time. But since I’m a glutton for punishment I made another appointment with another girl.
So the second time I had Marta and I’ll put her real name because she was AWESOME. She made me feel comfortable and she had me cracking up. She fixed my eyebrows so that I didn’t look like Lucifer anymore and she really spent the time and took care of my Pancho Villa stache. I left feeling great and looking groomed. If I were to ever get my whoo haa waxed I would totally have Marta do it.
I love the concept of this place. The wax is organic and they don’t use paper strips, it’s also just a waxing spa so it’s pretty cheap. So if you go ask for Marta :)
