All of our dogs have been rescued from a local shelter or found as strays living on the streets. We don’t know the history the background or where they came from. All we know is they need a second chance at a forever home. They may have scars, been abused, abandoned or just lost their way. Our goal at Apollo is to place them in homes that believe in second chances.

All of our dogs need the right family and families need the right dog. We understand that the dog you choose may not always be the perfect fit and we will always take the dog back. We at Apollo are dedicated in finding you the right dog for your home

History

Established in 2011.

**From the dog that started it all **

My name is Apollo and my mom Colleen was abandoned and left in a boarding facility and forgotten about. My mom was sick and pregnant with little me and 10 other puppies. We were taken in by my mom’s foster mom who gave my Mama all the love she could to try to help heal her wounds. her wounds were too deep though. We were all born June 28^th 2011, 2 did not make it which left 9, 1 week later Poseidon did not make it which left 8, Hera, Artemis, Theseus, Zeus, Ares, Hades, Hermes and me Apollo. When we were just 3 weeks old my Mama had a nervous breakdown and trying to protect us she tried to end all of our lives. I was the only one to survive. My new Mama (Danielle) promised that day that she would help save any abandoned Dogs… and that’s what she did.
