When: Sat. June 4, 2016 Located in the old Kahuku Sugar Mill complex. A large assortment of flavors… I think the sign said 30 different flavors… Funny thing is, we stopped here because the traffic headed to Sunset Beach/Haleiwa was horrendous, so we turned around and headed back the other way… our original plan was to stop in Haleiwa for Shaved Ice. Good thing for the traffic, because we would’nt have been able to try Wili Wili… Service was cordial and efficient. Prices were very reasonable… for a large shaved ice with a scoop ice cream and 3 flavor choices, it was $ 3.99. The next time we make the around the island trek, we will stop by Wili Wili again.

There is shaved ice and then there is shaved ice with super generous portions of syrup, vanilla ice cream and condensed milk! This place is awesome. Friendly staff which adds to the charm

Tastes good and they’re pretty big. The large was $ 3.40 and you can get 3 flavors. We got cherry, piña colata, and bubble gum. All the flavors tasted good. Cherry was the best. It was enough for 2 adults and a 7 year old. It looks like they have 30 flavors.

This was my first shaved ice in Hawaii, but it exceeded my expectations ! I got the melona, strawberry, coconut flavors and they were delicious !! I got ice cream at the bottom and when they mixed together, it was the perfect combination. Delicious ! Got the medium and it was perfect to share. Great prices too! Would definitely come back.

Disappointing shave ice. Yes it’s big and pretty reasonable but all the favors taste the same — like a nondescript sugary flavor.

Cool place on North Shore and great place to stop when trekking from Haliewa to Kailua. Shave ice is awesome-real fluffy ice. Tip is the lunch spot tucked in the back behind the shave ice. Great fresh shrimp and other fish goodies.

By far the best shaved ice I’ve tried anywhere on the island. They are huge, and inexpensive. Plus they have 30 flavors, ice cream, toppings, etc. This place may take a little while to make things, but it takes a while when their small is biggest than most places large. Don’t miss this place.

We arrived at 6pm, and had to wait 25 minutes for our shaved ice due to 6 orders ahead of us. Not that it was very busy, but the staff appeared to be all high school students who, while friendly, were not very efficient/fast with their service. Of the huge variety of flavors, we got mango, pineapple and passionfruit. All three were way too sweet and artificial tasting. We did got a lot of ice with our large order, however didn’t finish it more due to the flavor than because it was too big.

The kids size is pretty darn big and is less than $ 3. The services was sloooooow. The product was nothing special. There were many feral cats and chickens to keep the kids entertained as we waited for our shave ice.

My FAVE shaved ice when I go to Oahu! We always stay in Waikiki but I make it a point to drive out to eat at Kahuku grill and get a shaved ice right after. Tigers blood and cherry with ice cream and sno cap is the way to go!

Finally Shave Ice that is not watered down and tasty all the way to bottom. No bare ice on the bottom like the places in town.

Love the shave ice here! One of my favorites on island. Huge sizes and delicious flavors! Must try if on this side of island, or if not make the drive here!

What the??? This is the biggest ice shave I have seen in my life! This thing dwarfs all others and makes them beg for mercy! Forget the tiny Waiola shave ice or any others. Kahuku knows how to do it right! You can get practically any type of addition — like condensed milk and ice cream. Seems like they have bowls or the cup or??? I mean it was crazy big. So it gets 5 stars on size alone.

They were so friendly here… a perfect spot for shaved ice while driving through the North Shore. Lots of seating on the deck… and the shaved ice was GREAT! You order through the little window on the side of the restaurant. Fast service!

Three stars for this average shaved ice establishment near Turtle Bay. It’s in a complex of several other small businesses. There are 40 flavors. We ordered the Strawberry, Mango, and Blue Hawaii. Very sweet, lots of sugar in the syrup folks! and I suggest that you get the flower cone. Otherwise, big big mess.

It’s hard to pinpoint the best shave ice I’ve had in HI, but this is probably one of the best experiences. After stopping by the Kahuku Grille, we really needed something sweet and refreshing. I love the fact that 1) super friendly workers that are quick and engaging 2) not stingy on the condensed milk! Asked for a little extra and the worker was glad to top off a little more, other places I’ve gone we get nickeled and dimes just for a few drops more. The portion was huge(probably bigger than my face) and they used the old-fashion style of shaving the ice(hand-cranked), just like my Korean mom would do it. Ice cream in the middle was rich and creamy, nice addition to the shave ice. This is such a great place to stop by if up in the North Shore and looking for some quality and delicious shave ice.

Now this is what I was after! It is a fully cup if ice goodness! The syrups are the ones you are familiar with. I got tigers blood and vanilla. It was so so good! They don’t have shaved ice like this in the main land(at least where I am). For a regular size in the flower cup it was 3.15. I would so have one of these every day if I lived next to one! They had lots of other flavors and you can add ice cream to it if you want.

They don’t just have shave ice! During lunch on Monday, Wednesday & Friday, they have Filipino food! I got the mini and my husband got the regular. I ordered the pork adobo and my mini plate included rice and pancit. It was delicious but my pork adobo was a little dry. My husband ordered the pork adobo and chicken afritada(stew). They had run out of mac salad. The regular plate was supposed to include mac salad, rice and pancit. Not sure if he got extra pancit or not. His pork adobo wasn’t dry at all, maybe I should have asked for more sauce. The pancit was pretty good and I’d definitely go back again!

Arrive early as they sell out of fruit salad & azuki beans for their many flavors of shave ice. For $ 4.20 you get a large shave ice using three fruit flavors & a scoop of ice cream in the bottom! Be aware of your location, as it’s easy to walk into the convenience store by accident! I had to edit the review based on the bathroom! In a food service establishment, the cleanliness of restrooms means a LOT! I’ll let the photos speak for themselves. Blech! Please keep the place clean.
