Great service great prices for the money Alan and the his staff excellent people finally found a mechanic shop.

These guys are the best. The most honest reliable people on the island. Literally they are so quick to help and my car always leaves so so so much more happy then when it arrived. They even gave me a loaner while they checked out my car. You can tell they really care and i know that i will never take my car anywhere else. They have top level service and Amazing customer service that a lot of service departments are lacking.

Great service and repair was good doesn’t put a hole in your wallet. I will definitely go back from now on 2 thumbs up :)

Service was great! I had to get my timing belt replaced and the price was more than reasonable — less than 3 other shops I called and my car is running great!

I was taking my car somewhere else, but this time they couldn’t fix the problem. I came to Mike’s and now it’s the only place I will go. The service was excellent, the guys are so nice and courteous, the prices very fair. I was expecting to pay a arm and leg, I was so surprised at the estimate. I am not one to review on Unilocal.The service I got from these guys was so great, I had to put it in writing.
I drive a 15 year old Honda CR-​V. My 15 year old AC system was starting to go out on me. I originally took it to the Maui Oil and Lube off of Wakea Ave. where they quoted me Approximately $ 1,500 for parts and labor on top of the $ 60 they charged me to look at the car to see what was wrong!
Luckily, I Unilocaled some places and found Mike’s Auto where I booked an appointment for a 2^nd opinion. All of the guys were super friendly and professional. My appointment was at 12pm. They took my car in right away, where it took less than 10 minutes to test my car. They explained to me that both my radiator fan and condenser fan needed to be replaced along with some other small top offs of fluids.
Within 20 minutes, they found the parts I needed on the island and said it would take 2 hours to repair! I was so ecstatic that I could take care of everything in the same day.
They also lent me a truck to get to work for no extra charge (only available within Kahului and Wailuku). Total amount due was $ 493. These guys helped me save about $ 1000!
Its been two days now and my AC is working great! Both of the fans have a 12 month warranty (With original receipt). I trust these guys and will definitely come back.

Took my Xterra there for a major service, valve cover gasket replacement, and my car wasn’t ready when they said it would be, so Mike let me borrow his SUV until it was ready the next day! Honest guys

The guys are always friendly, knowledgeable and straightforward. Recommended by a trusted friend, this place surpassed my expectations anyway. Friendly service with honest pricing, I will tell everyone I know about this place. Don’t get ripped off by the big repair shops, whose staff apparently work on commission. Mike’s Automotive is the place to go for any kind of auto repair.

Good experience everytime I’m there so far. Had an oil leak that the Dealer could not find after putting dye into auto oil of vehicle. I thought maybe the Dealer just did an incompetent oil change. A few months later the same problem with the oil leak. Anyway, took it to Mike’s and Mike’s Automotive found the problem and advised the Dealer since I still had a warranty. Amazingly, when I spoke with the Manager at the Dealer, he also, advise that Mike’s Automotive were trustworthy. I recommend this place.

Going to an auto repair facility for the first time can be a daunting experience. I had read several Positive ratings others had posted about their experience with Mike’s Auto Repair and decided to give them a try. I was very pleased with the experience from the moment I arrived until my vehicle was done and picked up. Their communication was excellent — just like the services they provided for us. And of equal importance, Mike’s pricing was very fair. I will most definitely use their services again if the need arises and recommend Mike’s Auto Repair to others when asked.

I can’t say enough good about this place. I brought in a very big and complicated job on my Lexus and they just handled it. Alan did an estimate on the spot and explained everything with credibility. They started right away (the dealer wanted an appointment over 3 weeks out). They finished the job faster than they promised and it was exactly what they quoted. They saved me money and they did more than what the dealer was offering and they included the same warranty. Everyone there was courteous and attentive. I was not expecting any of this at all, but I am glad I found them. Finally, a truly great repair experience.

Everyone at Mike’s is friendly, knowledgable, and hard working. We’re so appreciative of all of their help! After having a terrible experience at another place, it was refreshing to be so well taken care of and in a time efficient manner. The best and most trustworthy place in town, hands down!!! You never have to worry about being ripped off or squeezed with unnecessary repairs. The staff there are all capable and knowledgeable. Great rates and the owner, Mike, is the humblest guy. They do get busy because they are so trustworthy, so make an appointment. They also do safety checks.

This is the auto repair shop I trust the most in Kahului. They are on the whole honest, nice, and affordable. All qualities which are highly sought after in auto mechanics. Will always give you a quote before doing service upon request. It’s a small shop, sometimes they get busy so you need to call and make an appointment ahead of time. 2 minute walk from the Queen Kaahumanu Mall so there’s somewhere to hang out. Alan (who I think is the owner) is a good guy and will tell you straight up what needs to be done with your car, so we have always felt comfortable going there. They will only focus on what you ask them to look at.
